  2. Gandalf

Joe, Can not be so hard to try to find 32 facts that are truth.
This is a constant problem at your site, truth.
Not that you do put out great articles often, but you like to wander of from the truth to often.
I come to number 2 only before catching the first lie, about 3-5 (this is approximate) is born every second.
    Very unCool I say.
The Truth is Cool, promoting lies is not!!! We have enough of that in the society as is.

    • Jesus

way to be suuuuper hypercritical about that fact, this is a light hearted fact list. theres no need to be like that over this, you say promoting lies like this is propaganda to promote some twisted agenda. learn to pick your battles

      • Gandalf

Jesus do you read collective evolution regular, if you do and posses some kind of critical thinking you would know what I mean.
And every time someone speaks up and say “Hey Man, this is wrong, you got the facts twisted”, and then I do not mean something you can have conflicting view on, I mean something that is hard core fact wrong, no question about it is wrong, then someone likes you comes along and say stuff like “why so critical, why are you close minded” or something like that.
I think Joe Martino and the other people behind this site and the sister sites and Fb group has a sincere agenda to make a change in the world, but they really need to start looking in to the clearly false facts they sometimes presents and as I said they do present a lot o good fact also, but still they have nearly 120 000 people reading their articles, this is a good base to affect a lot of people.
Was this facts a small miss and a small lie, hell yes, but this is probably the easier one to get right, if can not get it right on a 32 point light hearted fact list, which must be a easy task, do you think they will get it right on a more complex system?
I read article they put up nearly every day as source for alternative new, I will hope they do some fact checking before, as the normal news paper has gone hight wire in terms fact checking.
If I and 120 000 other people regularly read what they put out, It is not to much to ask, do some fact checking before you publish and put out source link, and stop using another questionable article (with no source) as a fact to prove a point.

As Jesus you should know Luke 16:10 New International Version (©1984)
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”

Also Buddha said to his son Rahula “when anyone feels no shame in telling a deliberate lie, there is no evil, I tell you, he will not do. Thus, Rahula, you should train yourself, ‘I will not tell a deliberate lie even in jest.’”

        • From what I have read around the internet about births, it can range between 1 every 3 – 5 seconds to 1 every 10 seconds. It’s tough to say really. Given that fact, I have a hard time feeling like #2 is a lie, or very inaccurate. AT the end of the day, it’s a fun little list anyway. Doesn’t need to be taken so serious, but that’s just my opinion.

          • sissy

Joe, I totally agree. It doesn’t need to be takes so serious :-)

          • Paris

I’m glad you replied, Joe. I was reading the comments for more fun facts (which trolls have scared me off from doing) and it became a downer.

        • Indeed.

    • Dawn

I agree with Gandolph and YangYi. Collective Evolution has a lot of interesting reads, but the truth and facts are always better if you want to be taken seriously or be a reliable resource. I hate arguing with idiots who read lists like this and take it as complete truth – and too many idiots like that exist. So, if you’re going to post info, why not make it correct?

      • I’m thinking all three of you got shoved in your lockers in high school.

        • daznez

yeah. but so will you, someday x

      • Dev

You act as if this isn’t just a little list meant to be light hearted and fun. They are not trying to spread inaccuracy or brainwash people. I have trouble believing they put inaccuracies in this list on purpose…

    • Maria

Posts/articles like this one are meant to make people smile and happy, thank you! Unfortunately negative replys like this one are sad because the entire point is missed. Bottom line, criticism when someone misses the point is not helpful so I wonder, how you (Gandalf) could be using your time and energy in a better way?

Interesting definition that comes to mind…

INTERNET TROLL: A person whose sole purpose in life is to seek out people to argue with on the internet over extremely trivial issues.

    • Hi Gandolf…

It’s not often I take time out to reply to comments made by others in websites… but your response to ’32 of the world’s happiest facts’ warrants a response.

How can you take time out of your life to make such ‘pin-pricking’ and inane comments such as you did regarding point number ’2′ etc?

Is it really so important to suggest that the Joe Martino… the producer of this site made a comment about how long you… I… and everyone else was the ‘newest being on earth’?

Please Gandolf… get a life above and beyond looking for faults in such interesting sites as this one!

      We wish you well.

      Bart and Ritchel.

P.S. Congratulations Joe for producing such an interesting and informative site. B&R.

    • I gather you’re a little low on the antibodies…

  3. Jules

Relax guys ….. you are all guys ??? apart from Shirley Cameron…. number 25 says it all really. Life is good :) xxx

  4. Rebecca

You are certifiable & likely have a thought disorder. Most of these are simply facts. Period.

  5. Alex Seymour

I do love the webpage! I just wish you guys were a little more scholarly and backed everything up with evidence. I know you guys have the right idea and I repost your stuff all the time, yet being a 19 year old undergraduate, I even see flaws with the webpage constantly. Criticism is not a bad thing however, it promotes reinvention and regeneration of beautiful insight, so take it from your fans, and try to be clearer in your intentions and less biased in your attempts to get your messages across. This is not a threat and in fact I send all you and your writers much LOVE, because I can sincerely tell that you people care and think outside of the box to promote consciousness and social change, which is much appreciated!

    • Hey Alex,
Thanks so much for the feedback. I understand where you are coming from with your comments and we have been working to get a lot of these changes implemented i.e. we have an editing system in place now and we sources absolutely everything we can (been doing that for a while now actually) One thing in regards to sources though, we sometimes have our sources questioned due to their lack of scholarly appeal etc. But in all honesty I have found that even some of the most “credible” sources often share information that is not truthful but presented in ways that can seem truthful to many. This includes government sources, health organization sources, universities and the like. it’s truly tough to find un bias sources of information these days :S

      • Sarah

Taking anything as a truly scholarly source without it being peer reviewed is iffy. It is a fun article, anyone can take any of these facts and Google them for themself. Everything in the media bus bias and embellishmen. Take these facts for what they are, something fun to read and maybe look up for your own further reading. I don’t even take what my professors say as pure truth, everything should be checked if you want to call it pure truth.

Joe, personally, this brightened my day. Thank you.

        • Sarah

Sorry, my reply should have been for the long conversation above!

  6. Hey Gandalf, why so serious?
May I suggest you ponder the lyrical meaning of Lateralus by Tool.

  7. We are serious because we love you. We also think this site is on to something big. This can go somewhere, make a difference. It already has and it will. CE articles are amazing. Sometimes we cringe at information being presented in oversimplified or less than accurate ways. It’s an art to combine scientific writing with intuitive truths while maintaining factuality. When you get it right, it’s powerfully profound. We are glad CE people are working at it, and humbly would like to voice our concerns when we feel the need (also share the joys). We are serious because we are awake, because we love you.

Enjoy the overall goodness of the 32 comments, especially numbers six, 17 and 20! Watch he evening news if you want negativity.

  9. Chris H

Reading these overtly critical comments reaffirms my growing impression that reading the comments following articles is a guaranteed buzzkill and serves no real purpose unless one likes to wallow in sarcastic, acid-tongued, angry and bitter company. For all those who demand perfection here, please feel free to start your own perfect website and show us mere mortals the way.

    • I agree, Chris, but man, sometimes these trolls are good for a laugh!

And being born at the same time? almost impossible knowing that time is stretchable. Babies may be born 0.00000000000000001 second apart, would anybody know it to be different times? No not the human brain thats for sure.

  15. Derek

Think outside the box Gandalf, thats where the truth lay wait.

  16. Bentley Ball

I got to #3 and thought “one hundred And one”, but decided I was being petty and needed to stfu. Then I started reading the comments, and it was buzzkill all over.
I get enough of reality from the rest of the world, and more than enough of folks looking to pick things apart in search of the flaws.
Here’s a happy fact: Penicillin was discovered in an improperly sterilized environment. Had the lab and culture been properly sterilized, penicillin would not have been discovered.
Serendipity is a real thing people, so chill out.

    • Paris

Thank you. A happy fact, finally. That’s a pretty cool fact too.

  17. C. L.

Let me just say … #25 – aren’t women fortunate (and also grateful) more should recognize this joy on a daily basis…… :) Truly ENJOY your day

  18. Leslie

For the naysayers and negative feedback people – whether you profess love or are just pushing buttons or nit-picking… The success or non-success of CE will evolve on it’s own and be a learning experience for all involved. This post was created for enjoyment and to uplift us. The data within – as with any data could be debated, but what is the purpose in that? Take from it what you will, leave behind what you wont. For those that felt the responses were a “buzzkill” – why allow others to decrease your joy… We each control our reactions – no other person can truly be responsible for your joy or saddness, anger or disillusion. What is IS. Namaste.

    30. Rats giggle when you tickle them. Their voices are so high-pitched you need special equipment to hear them, but when you do, their laughs are immediately evident.

What I want to know is one, who decided to tickle a rat? and two, who was SO curious they developed special equipment to hear it laugh, also before designing said equipment thought that they would laugh when tickled? LMAO

  20. Tanya

#Chimpanzees laugh when tickled too, it’s clearly obvious and visible when it’s done, no equipment needed… And when dogs play they make a sound that to other dogs feels and sounds so joyous, that dog rescue centers that take in severely abused dogs, play these sounds for them… with the most wonderful results. Instantly they stop showing anxious pacing and other fearful or aggressive behaviors etc… Namaste all… <3

Number 24, humans live longer now then ever before. I really doubt that’s true. We live in an age of poisons where ever we are, of high stress and low happiness. We eat more high processed, low nutrient foods then ever before. We hardly eat the foods we should to sustain our bodies for the long haul. How could we possibly be living longer.
I believe we lived longer in the past. I’ve read about this guy who lived to 200 and something, and was fairly recent. If he can live that long, anyone can.

  23. Solution to all the people who want to criticize and nitpick, create your own site or find another, simple as that. No one is perfect, no one has all the answers of life, why turn a good intention into a friggin debate. Go for a walk and sit with yourself in silence poindexters, I think it was intended for smiles and laughter and that’s what it did for me :)

  24. Awesome!!!!!

  25. Awesome Joe!!! Don’t listen to Gandalf. He’s a troll not a wizard. Thank you…

  26. ty <3

  27. I love that little bunnies are called Kittens. That’s just too cute, and made me smile so much I spit out the mouse I was chewing on. Baby foxes are called Kits too which I always thought was cute, but odd. Good list!

  28. I enjoyed reading your list, it made me smile :-)

  29. Angela

    Fun list Joe!

  30. Marius

Hey, Joe, thanks for this list! It’s very interesting and nice. I only knew about 25 :-)
    Greetings from Bucharest!

  31. Thanks Joe. A man called Bryan Allan flew to France from England using no energy but his breakfast (well he may have snacked but I’m not so picky with my facts like that. Keep flying dude.

  32. More positive news please! :D

  33. Paris

Baby echidnas are called Puggles. Puggle is also the name of a breed of dog that is a mix of pug and beagle.

  34. Ahahaha, #32 cracked me up.

  35. It’s impossible to lick your own elbow :-)

  36. Drew

27 wins. Even on a bad day, it’s good to remember that there are always good things going on for someone else, and that the possibilities of each day are infinite. Thanks, guys.
PS, it’s a small thing, but kudos to the site programmers for leaving the “notify me of replies” options unchecked by default.

  37. Lerban

restart by peacemaster is the funniest thing you ever had seen so war by him !!!

  38. LOL, I’m for a big, world wide #20…then maybe people might cheer up and let a little positive love in. Tipping point anyone? ;)

  39. This is a very cool list, thank you. However, I’m pretty sure that the “death rate” is the same as it has always been, not “lower.” So far our death rate is 100%. Still… thanks for the cheerful facts!

“Sirius” is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer – an Emergency Medicine doctor turned UFO/ New Energy researcher – as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experiences with UFOs and with the cover-up.

In the course of his research Dr. Greer is asked to look at an amazing find: a humanoid specimen, 6 inches long from the Atacama Desert. Not until 2012 was he given permission to take bone samples and DNA from the specimen. At that same time a pre-eminent geneticist, hearing of this find, offered to do DNA testing. He enlisted an MD from the same university,- world renowned for his work with skeletal anomalies, to view the x-rays and CT scans. Their expertise along with Dr. Greer’s expansive knowledge of the subject bring more questions than answers. Where did this “Atacama Humanoid” come from? Are there others like it? What does it say about the origin of the human species?

While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.
