“Never Has There Been A Safe Vaccine. Never Will There Be A Safe Vaccine” – Dr. Suzanne Humphries

The world is constantly bombarded with the idea that vaccines are completely safe and necessary, it’s mass marketing at its best. It’s always best to do some examination and research before blindly believing what you are told. It’s good to know that  more doctors who have spent years researching the topic are sharing their professional opinions.  Sure, there are doctors that support and trust vaccinations, but just as valid are the arguments of those that don’t support them. They should not be ignored. The point I’m trying to make is that there is no definite answer, that the debate has not been settled as so many governing health authorities claim it to be.

Suzanne Humphries, MD, is a conventionally educated medical doctor who was a participant in the conventional medicinal system from 1989 until 2011. During those years she “saw how often that approach fails patients and creates new diseases.” She left conventional medicine to research “the many problems with mainstream medical theory, to write, and conduct a holistic medical practice.”

She was a Nephrologist, a specialty of medicine and pediatrics that concerns itself with the study of the kidney. Here’s what she has to say on the subject:

*Please read the entire article before commenting.

Those who are interested in doing the research will find papers that completely put to rest the debate. One example is a paper published by the CDC, titled “Increasing exposure to Antibody-Stimulating Proteins and Polysaccharides (antigenes) in Vaccines is Not Associated with Autism.”(1)

On the other hand, we have studies, also published in peer reviewed journals that do create a cause for concern. One example would be a study published a few months ago in the peer-reviewed journal Translational Neurodegeneration that provided epidemiological evidence supporting an association between increasing organic – Hg exposure from Thimerosal containing childhood vaccines and the risk of an ASD diagnoses. (2)

We also have multiple studies in peer-reviewed journals that suggest thimerosal should be removed from all vaccines. (3)

It’s a proven fact that vaccine manufacturers and health authorities have known about the dangers associated with vaccines for a very long time, but have chosen to withhold them from public knowledge in order to maintain “herd immunity.” This is scientific fraud and manipulation of scientific data that’s dished out to doctors worldwide. (4)

These are a few of MANY examples.

The bottom line is that we are bombarded and heavily marketed on the safety and necessity of vaccinations, when it is evidently clear that this isn’t the case. So ask yourself, why are you pushed to believe that they are completely safe, and necessary, when so many studies out there contradict those claims? At the same time, many confirm those claims. What exactly is going on here? It can be hard to know sometimes, that’s why at the end of the day you have to examine the information yourself and decide for yourself. Don’t put your trust into the corporation, into the commercials, or billionaires, put it in the research, which clearly shows that there are two sides to this debate. (I personally believe there is no debate, and that vaccines are not safe)

If the research isn’t enough for you, try researching the history of the vaccine manufacturers. Where they originate from, who started them. Research the shareholders, and see what other corporations they have control over. You will find some interesting correlations and connections, but that’s another topic.

Since we are constantly bombarded with corporate heads and billionaires testifying to the safety of vaccinations, I thought it would be good to present this information from a doctor who has been researching it herself for three years. You will never see something like this on your television screen.

  2. Gretchen

As a nurse for children, no child should have to endure the mumps and measles, or any epidemic. I am glad my parents chose to immunize me. As I had no say then that I did not want to get these diseases. I am sure the intentions are good, but the choice not to immunize is selfish to me, and reliant on those people who do immunize and then your child’s safety is in those parents of children who do immunize. The measles are back folks…and they never should be back…and that little child who has it…is the one suffering- not the drug company you boycott.

  3. why are people who are vaccinated worried about diseases that they are vaccinated for?

    • Because if they do not say anything the argument gets very one-sided and skewed towards the anti-vaccinaters… who seem to not understand science. Vaccines work at the population scale – so if everyone gets vaccinated we can eliminate diseases, like how we ALMOST did for the measels. Now kids/babies (who tend to have weaker immune systems) are vulnerable to the disease and can die from it. All because some people decided to NOT get their kids vaccinated.

    • kathy

What about the children that cannot be vaccinated due to health reasons? Should those children be put in jeopardy because another parent chose not to vaccinate? Also, if there is a prevention for something, why in the world would you choose NOT to help prevent your child from getting it???? No vaccine is guaranteed 100% effective but cuts the odds of your child getting a possibly life threatening disease is worth.

    • C

We r not. We are worried about those that can not be vaccinated!

  4. K

Issues like this aren’t just black and white. There’s SO much beneath arguments like this and everyone just wants to say they’re right and whoever else is wrong.
Until we get to a point as a collective where pesticides are put aside, organic farming is on a high, we are moving away from destroying the planet, and organic foods and medicines can be widely available to EVERYONE- not just people who can afford it- Vaccines are necessary for the time until we can ALL together move forward. People are missing the point here that we have to go forward together. Misinforming people to lean to either extreme is NOT going together. We can’t just vaccinate some kids and leave others, especially if you think you’ve doing them a favor by not getting them vaccinated- if you think your contribution is worth something to the entirety of society, then you would be educating yourselves about what the larger issues are at hand in order to do it together so eventually, when our immune systems, foods, and urbanized areas are strong enough to fight off these diseases, we could potentially eliminate the uses for vaccines. BUT until we get to that point, where everyone can afford these superfoods, where we are not equally destroying eco systems to get them around the world, you’re “example” by not getting your kids vaccinated is completely irrelevant to the larger issues at hand that will consistently overwhelm your desire to “be organic and natural.” I am all for organic everything, helping the planet, etc. but we have to go back to the first steps and press the reset button on society.

I am sad to see bias articles like this on C.E.. On issues like this, it’s important to discuss the deeper issues and meanings as to how these things reflect on us as a whole society. There are just so many details in this regard that need to be discussed. Your article shows people to be in fear of vaccines just as much as the government tells people to be in fear of disease. No, people shouldn’t be so heavily medicated in North America, but there needs to be IMPROVEMENTS on these things because it doesn’t eliminate the CAUSES of the real issues. There needs to be a larger focus on mental health, AFFORDABLE therapy and holistic medicines and herbs- you know not everyone can afford the right foods for themselves because the majority of North America is in a state of struggle with finances. It would be a bigger mess for these people to not vaccinate their kids than to end up with thousands of dollars in medical bills when they get a disease. There needs to be a more balanced focus on both sides of the coin, because I think that if people really had the affordable choice, the knowledge, the resources, and if our urban cities were equally as improved to not be so wasteful, if they had the awareness of the love within themselves and for others- they would choose the non-gmo products on the shelves, they would choose to not vaccinate their kids if everyone ad a WHOLE was healthy enough. This seems like a Utopia right now, but we can get there- it won’t happen by misinforming and causing more bias on this planet. It’s not enough to say that vaccines are harmful. This is completely irrelevant to the bigger issues. This is harmful to spread this kind of information. I do what I can to help the planet and myself, and society- but I believe in BALANCE not extremism. In order to acheive balance, we have to sometimes start over and get to that blank slate where we can learn how to write again. I would suggest, to truly go deeper with this- and I say this from my heart, from someone who really cares about EVERYONE not just about being this superficial organic person who wants to condemn those who vaccinate. We are not just undoing our generation’s mishaps, it’s our 7 generations before us as well. Don’t forget that, and that’s why we have to move together or the planet will never change for the better.

    Much love,
    K

    • It’s not about everyone affording it, it’s about creating a world where everyone can just have it and there is no price for life….I get what you are saying though, and I still do not believe vaccines are at all as necessary in the quantities that they are dished out today.

Not really misinforming, just presenting information…a side you won’t ever really see in the mainstream. The other side is so heavily emphasized, so many people are already aware of that side without being aware of this one.

I agree that there are so many details to be discussed…that’s one of my biggest beliefs and I point that out in many of my vaccine articles. That is in fact one of the points I use to support this kind of information be known.

You also have to account and look at the documentation and countless examples of fraud when it comes to health policy, and vaccines in general….

The list goes on and on, and one thing is for certain I definitely don’t believe we are at all misleading people. :)

Again, I definitely don’t think that the amounts of vaccines given today are at all necessary….and I think the ones pointing to the idea that they are have been “had” , we’ve all been had in some sort of way….

at the end of the day you just have to look at all of the evidence and information and science on both sounds of the coin and make your own decision, I personally believe that it is black and white, but I know many still think there is a grey area.

      • Pete

The scientists who say global warming is not real don’t get much representation in main-stream media. The vast majority of scientists believe that global warming is real and man is affecting it. Giving those who think it is not real a platform to spread their ideas is what you are doing here for vaccines. The vast majority of scientists see the small risk of injury far outweighs the benefits of preventing horrible diseases that have the potential of killing. But I guess it is fair to tell people that some think global warming is a hoax..

      • Suza Francina

Thank you, Arjun Walla, for presenting a perspective that is not fairly presented in the mainstream media . It’s important for people to understand that vaccines are not a black and white subject.

  5. Peter

There has never been a “safe” disease.

All medical treatment carry a risk. But I will take the risk of the vaccine over the risk of the disease any day.

You guys are so one sided. Here is a meta data study that has looked at Autism/ASD as it relates to Mercury, Thimerosal, MMR and after studying 1.3 MILLION subjects, they find no causational connection to Autism/ASD You say you want to see a study looking at Autism in vaccinated and non-vaccinated children? It has already been done in greater detail. That is what they found:
    • There was no relationship between vaccination and autism (OR: 0.99; 95% CI: 0.92 to 1.06).
    • There was no relationship between vaccination and ASD [autism spectrum disorder] (OR: 0.91; 95% CI: 0.68 to 1.20).
    • There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and MMR (OR: 0.84; 95% CI: 0.70 to 1.01).
    • There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and thimerosal (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.77 to 1.31).
    • There was no relationship between [autism/ASD] and mercury (Hg) (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.93 to 1.07).
    • Findings of this meta-analysis suggest that vaccinations are not associated with the development of autism or autism spectrum disorder.

In an epilogue, one of the authors wrote:
As an epidemiologist I believe the data that is presented in this meta-analysis. However, as a parent of three children I have some understanding of the fears associated with reactions and effects of vaccines. My first two children have had febrile seizures after routine vaccinations, one of them a serious event. These events did not stop me from vaccinating my third child, however, I did take some proactive measures to reduce the risk of similar adverse effects. I vaccinated my child in the morning so that we were aware if [sic] any early adverse reaction during the day and I also gave my child a dose of paracetamol 30 min before the vaccination was given to reduce any fever that might develop after the injection. As a parent I know my children better than anyone and I equate their seizures to the effects of the vaccination by increasing their body temperature. For parents who do notice a significant change in their child’s cognitive function and behaviour after a vaccination I encourage you to report these events immediately to your family physician and to the ‘Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System’.

    Abstract

There has been enormous debate regarding the possibility of a link between childhood vaccinations and the subsequent development of autism. This has in recent times become a major public health issue with vaccine preventable diseases increasing in the community due to the fear of a ‘link’ between vaccinations and autism. We performed a meta-analysis to summarise available evidence from case-control and cohort studies on this topic (MEDLINE, PubMed, EMBASE, Google Scholar up to April, 2014). Eligible studies assessed the relationship between vaccine administration and the subsequent development of autism or autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Two reviewers extracted data on study characteristics, methods, and outcomes. Disagreement was resolved by consensus with another author. Five cohort studies involving 1,256,407 children, and five case-control studies involving 9920 children were included in this analysis. The cohort data revealed no relationship between vaccination and autism (OR: 0.99; 95% CI: 0.92 to 1.06) or ASD (OR: 0.91; 95% CI: 0.68 to 1.20), or MMR (OR: 0.84; 95% CI: 0.70 to 1.01), or thimerosal (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.77 to 1.31), or mercury (Hg) (OR: 1.00; 95% CI: 0.93 to 1.07). Similarly the case-control data found no evidence for increased risk of developing autism or ASD following MMR, Hg, or thimerosal exposure when grouped by condition (OR: 0.90, 95% CI: 0.83 to 0.98; p = 0.02) or grouped by exposure type (OR: 0.85, 95% CI: 0.76 to 0.95; p = 0.01). Findings of this meta-analysis suggest that vaccinations are not associated with the development of autism or autism spectrum disorder. Furthermore, the components of the vaccines (thimerosal or mercury) or multiple vaccines (MMR) are not associated with the development of autism or autism spectrum disorder.

But Wakefield studying 12 kids is more credible, right?

    • Gretchen

Agree…Those kids with measles? There is no reason for anyone to have the measles…

  6. Me personally, I’m not a Vaccine person. I never get a flue shot, I haven’t had a vaccine since high school, and I’m fine. I have read so many arguments for and against, and I can’t tell ANYONE what they chose to do medically. It’ not my business. But what I can say – like I say about everything else – it’s up to the individual. If you’re prog vaccines, then get vaccinated. If you don’t trust them, then don’t get them.
I’m tired of the arguments that it’s all or nothing – every one has to get vaccinated or it doesn’t work. That’s backwards. What is the point of a vaccine if absolutely every one has to get it? Isn’t it to protect you from external influences? Things that get into your body and cause illness?
What’s more, I am tired of every one saying that they know more than the person they’re arguing against. Every one can find research to back every argument in the world up. I had an English class that had a whole module based on unicorns being real. I had some one tell me that I personally was going to be responsible for millions of deaths because I was choosing to learn about and practice holistic healing. We sat there and found research to support both of our arguments.
At the end of the day, it’s every one’s choice, and I think it’s unfair to tell people how to live their life or what conclusions they should adopt based on the research they’re doing. All that I ask from any one is that they DO research, look at both sides of the coin, and be the skeptic. Read each article and study with questions – who funded this, what is the history of the company being researched? What is the history of the study itself? Who gains the most by you believing this? The best studies are double blind, non profit – that’s just to begin with.
Be open minded, be curious, be skeptic, and be informed. Your research might take you down an entirely different direction than you intended.

    • michelle

      Agreed. Well said

      • Josh

Sorry, but no, not well said. Missing the issue in fact:
‘I’m tired of the arguments that it’s all or nothing – every one has to get vaccinated or it doesn’t work. That’s backwards. What is the point of a vaccine if absolutely every one has to get it? Isn’t it to protect you from external influences? Things that get into your body and cause illness?’

Well, the fact is that not everyone can get a vaccine. Significant numbers of people are immunodeficient (leukemia patients for example); essentially this means that the positive effects of the vaccine will be almost nil. Further to this, they lack an effective immune system to fight any infections.

So no, vaccination isn’t just to protect YOU from external influences as you put it. It is in fact (in my opinion), your moral obligation to be vaccinated to prevent you from contracting an infection (that you as someone containing a healthy immune system may just about be able to deal with), and passing it on to someone with a weakened immune system (who lacks the choice to be vaccinated) who may be killed by it.

    • Jason McMillan

What is the point of everyone getting the vaccine… Well for those poor people that have an illness or are too young to get “a vaccine” everyone getting a vaccine means we have heard immunity. Herd immunity is the reason people were not getting cases of measles when we all got vaccinated, but now people are not getting vaccinated the disease is coming back. That is the reason it’s happening and why it will get worse and people will die if we don’t keep up with vaccinating people and with the why should I get vaccinated attitude, and next will be polio and children who will be crippled because they couldn’t get the vaccine for whatever reason, they needed you to get yours so that you don’t make them ill. Not doing so with the “I’M WELL AND I NEVER GOT VACCINATED.” Is irresponsible beyond belief.

  7. Tim

Yay! Let’s get rid of vaccines and bring back smallpox and polio! Those illnesses used to afflict thousands, and conspiracy theorists the world over miss those good ‘ol days! And then let’s bring in the “scientists” who think climate change isn’t real, and then let’s allow kids to smoke because there are a handful of people who smoked for years and never get sick, so cigarettes must be okay, and anti-smoking campaigns are a conspiracy! And then when your family is lying on a hospital bed with a heart attack, let’s pay no attention to doctors and let’s ask them to not bother with all that fancy modern science, because conspiracy theorists know that mankind did just fine for thousands of years without them–back when they had an average life span of about 45 years.

    • There is abundant evidence that shows vaccines can indeed be harmful, many published n credible independent studies, and peer reviewed studies. There is info on both sides, most pro-vaccinators seem to ignore that fact.

      • Tim

We especially like to ignore the evidence that was written by a profit-driven doctor who falsified data and was found to be such a fraud that he was actually barred from practicing medicine in the United Kingdom. We really like to ignore the independent studies that had to be retracted by the journals they were published in because they were part of the anti-vaccination fraud and written by someone who lied straight through his teeth about pretty much every aspect of his study, from omitting his conflict of interest (he was paid by the plaintiffs in an anti-vaccination lawsuit), to the performing of invasive and unnecessary tests on children, all the way to producing fictional results from his studies. What we have a hard time ignoring is the thousands–if not millions–of people, mainly children, who will suffer and even die from diseases that were largely eliminated but will now make a comeback thanks to a population of conspiracy theorists who would rather believe any old story-teller as long as her paranoid fiction matches their suspicion that any company larger than a lemonade stand is part of a secret cabal that seeks world domination, and every scientist, doctor, or scientific journal that disagrees with that suspicion is a part of that conspiracy as well.

        • Fact is, there are a number of peer-reviewed scientific studies that show vaccinations are and can be dangerous. I don’t ignore Wakefield, I mention him in a couple of my articles. I don’t ignore retracted studies, as there are always studies that have been retracted. Children dying and suffering from disease goes both ways, and a lack of vaccinations is not the problem. Your comment seems to be a very emotional response, bottom line, we can’t ignore the clear scientific evidence on both sides of the vaccination coin! The dangers associated with them should not be ignored, nor witheld from the public domain.

          • Jason McMillan

You don’t ignore the “retracted” studies… Well, glad you said that as I know how you must think and must avoid that kind of thought processing in the future. You should indeed be ashamed of yourself for your actions, and being someone who is as dangerous to society as any predator.

          • lol, you must think studies like this are dangerous then too? There are hundreds, published in scientific peer reviewed journals, not to mention independent research.

            http://people.csail.mit.edu/seneff/Shaw_et_al_JOT_2014.pdf

          • Abraxas

You keep saying there’s “an abundance of” or “a number of” studies. Well, links or you’re making it up. Also, what constitutes “a number of”? 12, 24? And as compared to how many studies that show vaccines are largely safe? You’re doing a disservice to your readers. Though, it’s hearening to see that so many can already see that.

          • Hey, I am actually writing an article about why parents are choosing not to vaccinate their children. In it I provide an equal amount of studies on both sides of the coin so be sure to check it out. As far as studies that say they are safe and not safe, and the amount…that is also brought up in the article.

          • Pete

An “equal number” of studies? That is still misrepresentative of the research. For every study you can come up with that says vaccines are harmful, there are hundreds that show they are safe. So if you want to be accurate, have one study that says they are harmful and 500 that say they are safe. Then you will be closer to being accurate.

The memory of people dying from the diseases we vaccinate against has faded in the US. That is why people can’t remember anyone dying of the Measles. Roald Dahl lost his oldest daughter to measles. He wrote a letter sharing what happened and you can find it online.

          • I’m not so sure you are correct there Pete…not from all of the studies I have looked up.

      • No. There is not “abundant evidence”. Your article is destructive to society and you should be ashamed of yourself. You keep saying there are lots of studies — But there are not. Your citation number 2 doesn’t even reflect what the article actually says. I quote “the purpose of the present critical review is provide mechanistic insight regarding how limited thiol availability, abnormal sulfation chemistry, and decreased GSH reserve capacity in children with an ASD could make them more susceptible to the toxic effects of TM routinely administered as part of mandated childhood immunization schedules”. Kids who ALREADY HAVE AUTISM are at additional risk. Dear lord. Your point of view on vaccines is on the order of climate change denial. This literally makes me sick to my stomach.

      • bostonstrong

pro- vexers only know their dogma they have been taught- they never read the other peer- reviewed research- the ones that are not bought buy the vaccine makers themselves. I had unfortunately vaccinated my kids- not knowing I could have opted out- my nephew became austic after his MMR shot and if any person says that isn’t the case then tell me how do you go from being a VERBAL, thriving child to nothing?? He didn’t wake up one day and become austic- sorry !! its JUNK science plain and simple and these ppl who constantly say ” you don’t know science” well guess what science doesn’t know science- it get disputed all the time and science constantly questions- so why can’t the non- science person question it also. These vaccines are NOT safe- I personally know many who are vaccine injured- one is in a wheelchair forever due to the flu shot- I would rather have the flu than be paralyzed! You can keep your junk science- I would rather up my immune system with eating non- GMO food, not having fluoride and try and stop these horrible contrails poisoning us- if you think that is safe and non- conspiracy you must read this article from NOVA! http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/space/contrail-effect.html the rest of us are ‘awake” to pharm.’s corp greed! it goes far and deep!

        • Peter

Well, at least you were not going off on ChemTrails…Lol!

Your child was probably already drifting off into Autism and you didn’t even notice. He probably would have stopped talking with or with out the vaccine.

          • ray

polio vaccine didnt prevent polio. thank civil engineers for thst. fyi check the facts. it never prevented polio. its inventor daughter died of polio despite being vaccinated. studies? my foot.! you forget that studies needs money. who is going to fund research into vaccines safety when there is money to be made in promoting it? and flu shots sre height of sheepiness. i just pity them. and nobody trust you trolls. i agree that this article could have cited well known facts that would have blown your mind open but this article is not well researched. there are 1000s of quality utube credible video far more convincing that this article. heck even my post talks hard hitting fact that polio vac was never effective and that polio was prevented because of improvement in civil engineeing.

          • Peter

The inventor of the Polio vaccine gave his patent away. If it was about making money, why would he do this? My mom’s brother died from Polio yet he lived in a modern city in New Jersey. What civil engineering feat would have changed this?
I have posted a link to a recent meta-data study that included 1.4 million test subjects and it found no connection between classic Autism (not Autism-like symptoms caused by encephalitis) and vaccines. This study was done by volunteers (that means they don’t get paid) from the medical research community. There is no money trail here.

  8. Serene

Vaccines kill. Vaccines cause Autism. Vaccines cause infertility. Vaccines create living human bio weapons. Vaccines are nothing but poison. Vaccines create new mutated virus’s and diseases. Vaccines cause allergies, seizures, cancer and they are the reason we have AIDS/ HIV. Truth is Truth. Fact’s are Fact’s.

    • Peter

You are correct, truth is truth and facts are facts but nothing you said before that statement has any relationship near truth or fact.
Yes, in very rare cases, a child reacts to a vaccine and causes encephalitis (brain swelling) resulting in Autistic-type behaviors. This does not mean all Autism is caused by encephalitis.
It is such a rare event that the benefit of being protected from possibly fatal diseases far outweighs the risk. I would much rather have an Autistic child (which I have) than a dead child.

    • Abraxas

I have a torn ligament in my back. I’ll bet vaccines caused that, too. >:(

Vaccines and the Basics of Biology
    Monday, October 26th, 2009
Anyone knowing the basics of biology should know:
    1. That all vaccines by their very nature are antigens and that every antigen by defintion must be a foreign protein or a substance attached to one’s own or some other foreign protein;

    2. That no foreign protein can be absorbed into the blood stream unless it is digested in the alimentary canal into its basic amino acids;

    3. That it is these amino acids which after being absorbed into the blood stream are reconstituted into one’s own proteins and it is these proteins which distinguishes every being of existence into self and non-self.

    4. That any interference or tampering with these laws of existence can bring calamity to the being in which it occurs such as by causing auto-immune conditions like autism, etc.
This is precisely what may be occurring due to vaccine injections in people. Surprisingly, I am presently the only scientist who is reminding about this phenomenon of existence. If I am wrong I would like to be corrected by those claiming to possess better knowledge of same.

The foreign proteins in vaccines originate from not only the infectious organisms against which one wishes to produce infection-fighting antibodies but also the artificial media in which these organisms are grown. Contained in such media may include one or more of the following materials: bovine serum, horse serum, chicken egg, monkey kidney, insect cells and even human fetal cells.

Apart from the foreign proteins, vaccines may also contain other harmful substances, including mercury, aluminum, formalin, oily adjuvants, etc., plus untold number of stray viruses with the potential to cause cancer, HIV, serum-hepatitis, and so on.

Meanwhile, evidence indicates that except for smallpox, no other infectious disease, e.g.: tuberculosis, cholera, typhoid, anthrax, measles, mumps, rubella, DPT, polio, influenza and others, has been eradicated and that this continues to be so despite the decades of vaccinations against each of these diseases. Also, during the same period, the incidence of many previously uncommon diseases, such as autism, diabetes, allergies, andcancer, has been increasing in pandemic proportions.

I feel that it is time to demand a moratorium on, at least, the compulsory vaccinations for children, health care professionals and military personnel until such time that these issues are reviewed and discussed in an open and transparent manner with the due involvement of the public. excellent post

When I had my first smallpox vac in the early 1970’s (at 25yrs) I actually had an outbreak of smallpox. Nice.

When I first heard about the vaccine controversy I thought people who didn’t vaccinate were crazy, and yet something about it stuck with me. When I got pregnant 10 years later I decided to research the issue for myself. I quickly realized that there are risks to vaccinating and risks to not vaccinating and each person must decide for themselves the risks they are most comfortable with. I didn’t vaccinate my kids and I am so glad. They are now 11 & 14 and are amazingly healthy kids. They have phenomenal immune systems and are virtually never sick. In fact my 11 year old has never been to a doctor, and never had the need for antibiotics. Over the years I have kept up on vaccine research and its becoming clearer and clearer to me that many of the ‘sickness’ we see in our society stems from the assault on the immune system from vaccines. If people knew the true risks, I doubt many mothers would allow their child to be vaccinated.

    • had the Shingle vaccine, maybe 4 yrs ago, I have had the shingles 3 times in 15 months, makes me wonder, my immune system is supressed due to cancer and 8 months of chemo so am VERY careful when the flu season starts. Wish this Dr was mine :)

      • bostonstrong

Carolyn, I hate to bring this up since you are already hurting but did you see the 14 yr study Australia did on Chemo? http://www.chrisbeatcancer.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/contribution-of-chemotherapy-to-5-year-survival.pdfIt shows it only helps 2.1% but dr.s and hospitals still recommend it because of $$$$- if you start to google ” how chemo doesn’t work” you will see tons of articles- and now all of a sudden the doctors say ” we are now moving away from chemo and targeting cells instead with special meds” Why? Because after yr and yrs chemo doesn’t work- I wish my BFF listen to me and did holistic instead- I would get the book Whole Health by Mark Mincolla- a man here in MA who has cured tons ( even stage 3 &4 ) from cancer by using foods that work for their particular body- his site is here- http://www.markmincolla.com- I am high risk breast cancer and eat alkaline to keep it at bay as well as workout about 5-6 times a week. Even cannibis, baking soda cures cancer- best of luck to you!

After reading everyone’s comments it reminded me of the bipolar nature of the our political system. Two sides arguing from polarized viewpoints, yet neither side coming to any conclusion. Here’s a thought to add to the argument. What if vaccines are important in preventing vaccines, but because the vaccines contain thermosol and aborted fetus tissue and cancer causing agents amoung other things they are unsafe and cause cancer, allergies, and autism. Here’s the simple soloution… Make vaccines that do not contain these poisons. What a concept? Then you can vaccinate children and prevent the spread of dreaded disease without weaking and poisoning a developing immune system. Your all arguing over the wrong things. Join forces and demand safe vaccines. Then you will no longer be on opposing sides like the global elite would like.

    • Rajah, the global elite will no longer enjoy ruining other people’s lives, once everybody starts doing The Personal Cancer Killer – that exercise can erase any diseases from the face of the Earth along with the vaccines supposed to prevent them, but causing more harm than expected. Please read my comment below.

    • TQ

the global elite control vaccine production, your point is moot.

  12. Salmon Dave

Yes Elana, and in that Daily Beast article there was a HUGE ‘red flag': it said, “The explanation is simple, and is as accessible as the nightly news.”
If you’re getting information from the nightly news, you’re uninformed.

  13. John

“Never Has There Been A Safe Vaccine. Never Will There Be A Safe Vaccine” – Dr. Suzanne Humphries. This is sensationalism at its best! Does “safe” mean perfectly harmless to EVERYONE?! Hah! Try finding anything that fits that description (much less making something).

  14. Conscience

Vaccines kill. Vaccines cause Autism. Vaccines cause cancer. Vaccines cause allergies, asthma, chronic illness. Vaccines are about money.

    • Frida

Autism is most likely based on chemicals in the womb or uterus when you’re pregnant. I’m not really sure about the term. I don’t think that vaccines causes autism, because if you have autism, I have autism, it’s something that’s in our bodies the whole time. You’re either born with it or not. It does not come from vaccines. And I’d like to see your proof och where you get your facts from.

  15. MT

Suzanne Humphries thank-you. The loss of a child would be one of the most challenging experiences a human being could face however because of the loss of a few, to some of these diseases, billions are now wearing the ramifications. I was told that in years to come science will be able to show the link between immunisation in childhood and heart failure in adulthood as just one side effects of our obsession with vaccinations. The other argument which amazes me is those advocating immunisation claim those who don’t are posing a risk to society. If this were true, then the risk is to the non immunised and so the immunised in theory should not be concerned.

    • Elana P

actually, you assume the immunized don’t care about the non immunized. but maybe they actually care about all people! so human concern for others other than oneself amazes you?! I mean yes it is amazing, but there are people in this world who care about other people…. and just for everyone’s information, I read there was a RECENT increase or an outbreak of measles in NYC, due to people NOT vaccinating…. sooooo. hmmm.

      • Peter
      • Therese

Where did the first case originate? Since it is well known that all polio cases came from the vaccine and research has shown that pertussis (whooping cough) is contagious from asymptomatic, recently vaccinated individuals, and that shingles has been transmitted via exposure to those who’ve had the chicken pox vaccine, doesn’t it stand to reason that the first case of measles was transmitted by someone who received the vaccine?

        • lisa

How can all polio cases come from vaccines when polio existed hundreds of years before vaccines were invented?

        • I agree Therese.

          • Pete

Polio came from the vaccine? My uncle was in an iron lung and died a week before his 14th birthday. That was before the polio vaccine was available. Explain that.

          • I agree with Dr. Suzanne Humphries – Especially from now on, vaccines are to be totally avoided – Here is why – The Ebola outbreak is a hoax to trick you into getting a viral nanobot laced vaccine that will destroy you – I got the mightiest way on Earth to stay absolutely healthy all the time and that is the fastest solution to the Ebola and any other infections crises – I got the power (and everybody can possess it) to wipe out Ebola, AIDS, Colds, Flues, T4 Bacteriophage, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, TB, Polio, Any Poxes, Pertussis, Any Hepatitis, Malaria, Dengue, etc. in just a few days – I got my WVD – The Weapon of Virus Destruction – Just an exercise for a minute a day – The cure and prevention of any diseases, known on Earth for more than 2 million years – Infections, Cancers, Diabetes, MS and Strokes – Even Tibetans and Yoga don’t know how to stay absolutely healthy all the time – The price of the WVD for the whole world is 5 billion EURO/BUCKS/BP – Only my WVD can destroy the T4 Bacteriophage nanobot virus, hatched to cause global zombie apocalypse and wipe out billions of humans – Just google “T4 Bacteriophage nanobot” to get all the terrible information regarding this Israeli race warfare ethno-bomb.

    • KF

I’m curious what research you’ve done regarding some of the more fatal diseases. You refer to the ramifications for billions in order to avoid “the loss of a few”. Smallpox has an overall fatality rate of 30% in it’s most common form. The smallpox vaccine (to which my mother reacted and thankfully survived) has a rate of death of 1.1 per 1,000,000 vaccinated. Polio crippled 35,000 per year, not including those it killed. After a switch to OPV from IPV vaccination, there was a slight increase in reportable adverse events related to vaccine administration. However, the death rate was still less than 1 per 100,000 vaccines administered. Measles only killed 1 to 2 of 1,000 infected. However, it is one of the single most contagious diseases around with a 90% secondary infection rate. So, if 50,0000 people contract measles in each of the 50 states and only 1 of every one thousand dies, that’s a death rate of about 2,500 a year. I’d like to suggest that is significantly greater than the potential death rate of the vaccine. In most years there are no adverse events resulting in death from the MMR, the most common form of the measles vaccine. These are just three of the diseases nearly eradicated via vaccines. Me and mine will continue to be vaccinate. I am thankful I live in a country where we all have the choice regarding vaccines. However, before you suggest billions are subjected to untoward effects to avoid “the loss of a few”, maybe you could present your research on the subject in order that we may understand what you consider to be a few.

The statistics I have presented have been gathered from Pediatric Surveillance, the CDC, WHO, and other scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.

  16. Katie

I see it this way: Do I want to risk getting smallpox, diptheria, or whooping cough, or do I take the vaccine? You can drive by any cemetery and the see the gravestones of whole families wiped out by diseases100 years ago that are now largely prevented by vaccination. We have the benefit of time and mass vaccination within the last 70 years that shields us from the reality of the severity of these diseases. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather take a vaccine than end up in the hospital with an iron lung. Not to mention, when you don’t get vaccinated, you are more susceptible to these diseases but also risk spreading it to the most vulnerable: Young babies who cannot be vaccinated, people with compromised immune systems, and the elderly. To not get vaccinated is more than simply a personal choice. It affects the most vulnerable populations if you get one of the diseases and unknowingly infect others.

    • Jose Garcia

Anyone who drives a car cannot use the public safety argument. Not only is there a great risk of physical harm, but they pollute the air, which adversely affects everyone on earth. There’s also a logical fallacy in your point. You assume that vaccines are responsible for the decline of these diseases. CDC data shows that most of the diseases we vaccinate against were declining on their own, and after vaccines were introduced, there was no noticeable increase in the rate of decline. But meh, take your vaccines, whichever of us lives longer wins.

    • Todd

Yours is a very normal response – exactly the one that the drug companies want you to have. What I have found, and I am not in the medical industry, is that the disease decrease in the last 70 years is from: a) the availability of clean, running water and soap to the masses, along with education on personal hygiene. b) refrigeration for food. c) companies that take our garbage away on a regular basis. These things came along at the same time immunizations started, so it looked like the immunizations worked. But they do not work. They are the cause of many afflictions that have grown rampant in the recent years. Do your homework. Don’t drink the kool-aid. Doctors are just doing what they have been taught from the books that the pharmaceutical industry had made for them.

    • Dolly

Wholeheartedly agree. It’s a personal choice and everyone out there that wants to drive their agenda to not vaccinate their children, I sure hope you stay away from my family and friends who are immune compromised. I don’t want nasty comments, your holistic proof or any other comments after this please. You will not change my mind. I pray that each of you and your children also stay well because if they do get one of these diseases they may inadvertently infect 1000’s by passing it on to 1.

  17. Did you READ the article, Pete? SMH

  18. AZLizard

My kids weren’t vaccinated in the late 60’s. I’ve only had Polio vaccine. We traveled and lived in NE Asia for many yrs. Traveled to other places in the world and I now live in the Caribbean. They and I have been fine. I find it interesting that Drs and the Gov’t carp all the time about vaccinations, but they let any airliner and ship drop off people from all over the world who have not been vaccinated and are sick when they get here. Remember the guy with untreatable TB? The only country who stopped him from entering was Canada.

    • Peter

You are one of the lucky ones not getting sick. As far as letting people come to this country withoutblocing the sick ones is because up till recently, the population was mostly protected by vaccines. But now, those who choose not to vaccinate their children have to worry that the person getting off that plane where these diseases are still rampant, doesn’t come near your child. But then, how will you know unless you don’t let your child never go out in public?

  19. To the relief of everybody on Earth, in the very near future no vaccines will be needed any more, for nobody will get sick of any diseases – any infections, cancers, diabetes and strokes – Nature has provided us the unlimited power of staying as healthy as Gods, we just gotta activate it by doing my invention – the PCK – The Personal Cancer Killer – the complete prevention and cure (for those now sick) for kids and adults of any diseases – from the common cold to cancer – just an exercise for a minute a day for prevention and for 2 – 3 minutes a day for the cure – any infections (Colds, Flues, HIV-AIDS, HPV, Malaria, etc.) are cured for max. 7 days and any cancers (Leukemia, Breast, Cervical, Ovarian, Lung, Brain, etc.), Diabetes and Strokes – for max. 30 days – no metastases or recurrences of any cancers are at all possible – the Cancer Killer is their devastating destroyer. Even bio-terrorism is much too weak against everybody doing the Cancer Killer – any bio-terrorist bugs are killed the moment they touch us.
I guess this lethal weapon against any diseases on the planet deserves its price for the whole world – 340 Billion Bucks, Euro, or BP – just 48 bucks for everybody on Earth – not much to possess the greatest invention in more than 300,000 years of humankind on the planet and to stay as healthy as God – never getting sick of any diseases even for a second.

  20. Pete

All medical treatment carries a risk. But when the benefit outweighs the risk, it is worth it.

    • Randy

Try a natural lifestyle and you won’t have to worry about disease. Your body will heal itself

      • KF

The natural lifestyle doesn’t seem to have worked out very well for the family facing prison time for not taking their toddler to the doctor after he contracted pneumonia. This is the second child this natural living family has lost due to lack of medical treatment. You know, the antibiotics Suzanne Humphries compares to devastating chemicals.

      • Gretchen

The natural lifestyle wont fight small pox….

    • Melz

Agreed when the benefits outweigh the risk. However, when it comes to some vaccines, that’s not usually the case. Not only that, but most things we vaccinate for are not life threatening to the general community. Chicken pox, mumps, the flu, pertussis all are diseases that, once contracted, run their course in about a week and once they do, the person builds a natural immunity and they never have to worry about it again.

Because of this, I would say then no, most vaccines are not worth the risk.

      • Med

As a medical student I have to disagree with you Melz. One of the biggest problems with many diseases is that just because you don’t “feel” sick, doesn’t mean you aren’t. This is a truth that many people outside of the medical community haven’t been exposed to. Several of the diseases that have been spoken about here have life-long ramifications that can be prevented with vaccines. Just because a disease ran it’s symptomatic course, doesn’t mean it’s done affecting your health or the health of those around you. Case in point, Chicken Pox is a relatively harmless disease of childhood, correct? Sure, for 90% of the people who contract it (there can actually be some very severe reactions). Most people think, “Oh, they’ll be itchy for a week and then never get Chicken Pox again.” Here’s the problem… The virus that causes Chicken Pox (Varicella Zoster Virus, VZV) never actually leaves your body. It stays in some of your nerve cells and is continually reproducing. For the most part your immune system keeps it surpressed… until it doesn’t. If the virus manages to break past your defenses once it’s in your nerves it causes a disease called Shingles which can be excrutiatingly painful. This doesn’t happen to people to have been vaccinated against VZV because they have the immunity without the organism residing within their body. Vaccines are not 100% safe, nor will they ever be. Most vaccines are actually just weaker forms of the organisms that are injected into your body so that your body will win the fight easier and create immune memory for the next attack. However, they can be a vital part of healthcare if used properly. I highly encourage everyone to do their own research on vaccines, and I think that their benefits greatly outweigh the costs. I also encourage everyone to remember that one of the key pitfalls of interpreting research is that “associations” do NOT imply “causation.” That is, just because two things are related to some degree does not mean that one of them caused the other or vice-versa

        • Med, regardless of how medical you are , why don’t you ask Pierce Morgan – he got the flu jab and after that he got flu-sick. In any case I got The Personal Cancer Killer – by far more powerful than the immune system itself, keeping it intact all the time – The Cancer Killer can wipe out any diseases from the face of the Earth, and of course any vaccines will become useless – nobody on the planet will become sick of any infections, cancers, diabetes and strokes, including you.

        • Emily

The only 100% is this. If you don’t vaccinate there will be no adverse reaction. I go with the 100% odds everytime. I find it hard to believe that the chickpox virus doesn’t contain a weakened form, how would it vaccinate you? Magic?

          • Peter

You obviously don’t have a clue how vaccines work. They use a dead virus and the body reacts to the dead virus as if it was alive to build an immunity. And you are not 100% safe if you don’t vaccine. Your child can get sick and die from the disease that the vaccine protects against. Because of Anti-Vaxxers like you, measles, thought to be gone from the USA, is now making a comeback and children are dying again.

            http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2014/03/13/thanks-anti-vaxxers-you-just-brought-back-measles-in-nyc.html

          • John

Well, Emily. Welcome to Vaccines 101. Parts of a virus is introduced into a person via the vaccine. These parts are attacked by the body’s own immune system. Having learned to attack these parts, the newly improved immune system can attack the parts of the whole virus if and when the body is infected in the future. Virus parts are in the vaccine so as not to infect the person with the disease. It’s not magic. It’s science.

Re: 100% odds. Let’s say everyone adopts your thinking. No one gets vaccinated. Will no one get sick? Hardly. Will anyone get an adverse reaction? Not from the vaccination. But from the actual disease, of course! Can you guarantee you won’t get the diseases we want to vaccinate everyone for? Seriously? How?

        • ebgill

I have shingles right now. I wish I had gotten the vaccine for it, but I am too young. They only give it to people 60 years and older. When I first started getting the rash, I was terribly frightened that I had measles because so many people are not getting vaccinated and it’s made a comeback. I get my flu shot every year and have not had the flu since. Yes, there are problems with vaccines, but disease is a whole lot worse. I’d rather see work to improve vaccines than elimination of them. Small pox is not a good thing.

          • Christina Suzanne

Disease is disease, and it exists for a reason. It’s not some hell upon Earth we should all be afraid of. It existed before medicine, and it has been a part of human nature for ever. It has a purpose, and we are ignoring it. We are making illness even worse by trying to avoid it, so feverishly. Honestly, getting a disease is not that bad. People over react; life is not supposed to be easy. When you get sick, it is a signal that you need to make a change, its your body telling you to give it some more attention (ie better nutrition, better emotions, rest, herbs, love, supplements, sleep!). I had Lyme disease, and it went undiagnosed for 5 years (because the MEDICAL system kept giving me the wrong test). I had heart and kidney failure, partial paralysis and full body arthritis. You know what, not that big a deal. Sure it sucked recovering, and it was painful to say the least. But honestly, if you are a strong person, it makes you stronger. I learned about myself, and it opened up a more beautiful life for me. There is a Lyme vaccine (which I know individuals who got Lyme from it) and I am glad I didn’t get the vaccine. Actually, the last vaccine I got was whooping cough and wouldn’t you know, a month later the full effects of the Lyme set in (the straw that broke the camels back on my immune system)

Disease does kill people, but not as many as you are led to believe. The people it does kill are congenitally weaker, have weaker immune systems, than those than don’t die. Those people would have gotten sick some other way. It is impossible to prevent every single person from dying prematurely (and insane to try to do that). When humanity has endured major epidemics of death and disease, it was in a time or place that was either unsanitary or the people were in a weakened state due to war, famine, etc. Epidemics don’t happen in well nourished, clean societies. Children die from diarrhea, in the USA, at a comparable rate they do of other “deadly” diseases. How do you vaccinate against diarrhea? Weak people get sick and die, and strong people don’t. Vaccines may prevent you from getting measles, but if your immune system in weak, it won’t prevent you from getting cancer 30 years later. Sure children don’t get measles, mumps and polio anymore, but they do get cancer, epilepsy, spectrum disorders, IBS, asthma, allergies, and birth defects far more than in the days when kids just got the illnesses. We need to relook at how we value life, and stop over reacting to things that can harm us (vaccine or disease; which both harm, vaccine does long term damage, illness does short term damage [unless you are injured or crippled from the disease, which can also happen from a vaccine]).

So here is something interesting to consider. Measles can kill children, vaccines can kill children. The reverse is true, measles do not kill and vaccines do not kill. Vaccinated children can spread the wild virus, and the virus contained in the vaccine. Non vaccinated can spread wild virus. So it seems like, even with or without vaccines, WE HAVE NO SOLUTION TO 100% PREVENTING MEASLES (other disease as well). Pro vaxxers need to stop acting like they have the answers, and that science backs their claims (biased science paid for by pharmaceutical companies backs their claims) and anti vaxxers need to stop simplifying the problem and say “it causes autism and don’t get the vaccine” (if you choose not to vaccinate you must have knowledge of nutrition, herbal/homeopathic/eastern medicine, are willing to breastfeed and expose their children’s immune system and allow it to grow). If you eat modern American diet, get a C-section, do not breastfeed at all, and give your children low quality food, they are going to get sick, no doubt, get the vaccine. Though the vaccine won’t prevent all the chronic illness children are getting today, but at least you will have peace of mind on your kids getting these childhood illness (or do you? cause vaccinated kids are still getting those childhood illnesses).

Too bad we couldn’t invent something that was drinkable/inhalable, to mimic how bacteria/virus would enter our system. (I know there are some boosters you drink, but I’m talking about all vaccines). Which did not contain all the preservatives, heavy metals and extra toxic matter, but only contained the antigen/contagion that we are targeting. And it was introduced slowly, one disease at a time (no MRR, when would we ever be exposed to three illnesses at once in real life?) to replicate how our bodies would actually create an immune response. It would also be productive to do it at an age where an individuals immune system is ready to even create an immune response. But alas, this won’t happen any time soon. Not enough money to be made, and a lot of work on the medical part to keep the vaccines fresh and mass produced.

I’d also like to note that most pro vaxxers are people who would/could not ever believe that our government or medical system would harm us. Governments (those in power) have been subjugating their people for thousands of years, our government has just learned how to do it without you noticing. Also, I get the impression that some of you pro vaxxers did not watch this, and are just commenting. Side note: I am not pro or anti vaccine. I got all my vaccines as a kid (not my choice obviously), but my 15 month old has not received any as of yet. All of the vaccines in the first round were not deadly, and I chose not to get them. I will see how I feel when it’s time to get a vaccine for a deadly disease.

We’re all just looking for peace of mind here, and safety for our children. Hate to burst your bubble, but the world isn’t safe and it never will be. Educate yourself, empower yourself and make the best choices for you. LOVE AND COMPASSION!!

Did You Know Cheese Is Addictive? That Explains A Lot… Here’s How To Kick Your Unhealthy Addiction

When I first started making some major changes in my diet, such as cutting out processed foods, meat, and other animal products, I remember saying to myself, ‘I don’t think I could ever fully give up cheese.’  The idea of…
