Jim Carrey has shared another bit of wisdom that if we take in and truly understand, has the potential to change our lives. Sure, in the video below he is sharing information he learned through a number of great authors and teachers out there, but the fact that Jim is living it is what is most important.
“All there will ever be is what’s happening here.” – Jim Carrey
The video below is from Jim Carrey’s commencement address to Maharishi University of Management‘s class of 2014 in Fairfield, Iowa. The video is short, but packs such a solid punch.
When we realize that all we have is the present moment, a powerful sense of peace comes over us. Suddenly we stop worrying about so much of the things our mind chatter is presenting to us outside of this moment.
Remember, no moment is ordinary, so take the time to pay attention to each one. Don’t get caught up in the past, the future, fears or worries. Be here, now and don’t be afraid to step out of the box. Your passions are of the most important things you can follow.
This isn’t the first time Jim has shared some amazing thoughts.

"If “Survivor” was actually real and had stakes worth caring about, it would be what happens here, and “The Sacred Science” hopefully is merely one in a long line of exciting endeavors from this group." - Billy Okeefe, McClatchy Tribune
