Ex Marine intelligence officer and the UN’s Chief Weapons Inspector for Iraq, Scott Ritter, recently joined three time presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul to discuss the idea that “17 intelligence agencies agree on Russian election hacking” story. They also discuss why the sari gas attack in Syria was an issue, especially after multiple world leaders called out the attack, saying that it was planned and orchestrated by a power outside of Syria, and had nothing to do with the Syrian government. The discussion also goes into the real purpose of the “White-Helmets” and why they’re in Syria.
Unfortunately, especially when it comes to the realm of big politics, we are living in a sea of deception, manipulation, ulterior motives and greed. This has become more evident than ever, as more people are starting to see that, if we want global change, we can’t continue to rely on a couple of “candidates” to do so.
These “elected leaders” that we put into power are taken by special interests, financial ties, and other influences that come in and “take-over” the decision making process. Everybody has a boss, and so does the president of the United States.
Who’s really in control?
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.”
– Edward Bernays (“the father of public relations”), Propaganda, 1928
“Political parties exist to secure responsible government and to execute the will of the people.
From these great tasks both of the old parties have turned aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare, they have become the tools of corrupt interests which use them impartially to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people.
To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.” (source)
