How Hollywood & The Military Industrial Complex Collaborate

Published

on

The latest Bond movie, Spectre, touches on an insidious connection between certain vested interests who wish to control intelligence and spy on citizens on a global level. The movie shows how special interest groups create terror throughout countries in an effort to push through and scare the public and governments into enacting stricter surveillance and reducing civil liberties. While the Bond movie makes the baddies out to be nothing more than a bunch of voyeurs who wish to know what everyone is up to, in reality the stakes are much higher. During his farewell address on January 17, 1961, President Dwight Eisenhower warned about what he described as a threat to democratic government. He called it the military-industrial complex. This was the union of defense contractors and the armed forces. He explains:

“In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.”

The Pentagon Collaborates With Hollywood to Glorify War

Back in 1986 the movie Top Gun was released. As a young kid I remember watching Maverick and Goose chase down Russian MiGs. The film went on to become a box office success, turning into the highest grossing film in 1986 and going on to take $353 million in total world box office receipts.(1) I didn’t realize at the time, of course, that I was being subject to some good old fashioned propaganda. War propaganda comes in a few forms — the first being a tool for the military to recruit, the second being in glorifying war and keeping the military industrial complex in business.

While Top Gun was not overt propaganda, since it distorted any historical facts, it did have a significant influence on young people. Top Gun was made in collaboration with the Pentagon. It was released in the mid-1980s, when polls showed many Americans voicing doubts about the post-Vietnam military experience. The movie’s success of presenting sweaty jocks flying jets not only generated millions at the box office but proved to be a major force in reviving the military’s image. Enlistments went through the roof. The Navy capitalised by setting up recruitment tables at theatres playing the movie. Opinion polls showed rising confidence in the military as America fell in love with Maverick, Iceman, and Goose as they travelled at Mach 2. (2)

Top Gun is not alone as a propaganda tool for the military. There have been numerous other collaborations which promote the theme of war. Recent movies such as Man of Steel gained access to use military hardware, while state of the art fighter jets were featured in both of the Iron Man movies. The criteria for use of military equipment is pretty straightforward: make the military look good. The movies Pearl Harbour and Golden Eye were other films that received the support of the military. With billions of dollars of tax payer funded military equipment at hand, it is difficult for production houses to produce military films which don’t have the support of the Pentagon. The Pentagon worked closely with the filmmakers in the production of Top Gun, giving the producers access to high-end equipment such as warplanes and aircraft carriers for a meagre $1.8 million. (2a)

Not All Films Are Supported By the Pentagon

Not all films get the green light from the Pentagon, however. Oliver Stone, a military veteran himself and eight times an Academy Award winning filmmaker, has made numerous films about the reality of war. Stone knows all too well how the Hollywood Industrial Complex works. Stone wrote Platoon — the story based upon his experiences as a U.S. infantryman in Vietnam — to counter the glorified vision of war portrayed in John Wayne’s The Green Berets. It was the first Hollywood film to be written and directed by a veteran of the Vietnam War.171  Stone suggests that Eisenhower was correct in his assessment of the power the military-industrial complex, stating it is the single largest economic entity in the United States. (3)

Movies that had to go without any military support include Forest Gump, Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Independence Day, and Thin Red LineAny movie script which denigrates the military, harms recruitment efforts, refers to drugs or alcohol, or where any enemy overpowers the military (including aliens), is a big no no when it comes to receiving potential military involvement. Hence, only stylised celluloid dreams of heroic American myths of imperialism and the rewriting of history is portrayed to audiences across the globe. The big loser in all this propaganda is, of course, the audience. The movie going public is exposed to a partial reality, which is a Pentagon glorification of war, funded by the U.S taxpayer.

War is Good for Corporations

The big winners are the corporations which support and provide the know-how, services, and equipment to the military. Some of the big players such as Lockheed Martin, a global aerospace, defense, security, and advanced technology company, with worldwide interests, take home some serious dollars from the U.S government and taxpayers. In 2013, 82% of Lockheed Martin’s $45.4 billion in net sales were from the U.S. Government, either as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor (including 61% from the Department of Defense [DoD]). 17% of Lockheed’s revenues were from international customers (including foreign military sales [FMS], contracted through the U.S. Government), and 1% were from U.S. commercial and other customers.(4)

Another key player in the military stakes is the Boeing Corporation, better known for its design and manufacture of commercial airlines. Under its Defence Space and Security Arm, it develops military aircraft, military communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, satellites, and rockets, as well as providing services such as integrated logistics and supply chain management. This arm of the business constitutes approximately 40% of all operating revenues, contributing $33 billion to the Boeing’s bottom line. (5)

Another lesser known company is Northrop Grumman. Northrop Grumman is a global security company who provide an array of military aircraft systems, unmanned systems such as the maker of Global Hawk surveillance drones, cyber security, communications and computers, (C4) intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems and installations. In 2013 Northrop Grumman’s revenue exceeded $24 billion, most of which (86%) was from U.S. government contracts.(6) These are just a few of the corporations which form part of the military industrial complex Eisenhower warned about in his farewell speech back in 1961.

Military Contractors Reliant on Government Contracts

In his book How the Military Invades Our Everyday Lives, Nick Turse outlines how “the military has grown from 22,000 prime contractors doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD) in 1970, to 47,000 + prime contractors and more than 100,000 sub-contractors in 2008.” (7) It is easy to see how lines can become blurred. Many of these large corporations are completely reliant and vulnerable to maintaining government contracts. With such exposure and risk involved with operating these businesses it is easy to see why corporations have such close alliances with government. This close alliance of corporation and government may not always be in the best interest of democracy and the general population. So when we see terrorist attacks and our politicians promoting and coercing the citizens of countries to war, the question begs, who is benefiting from such actions and who is ultimately behind such aggression?

Video: The Most Significant Leak About Extraterrestrial Craft Just Went Public

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

A recently leaked document has exposed notes taken by legendary scientist Dr. Eric Davis during a meeting he had Admiral Thomas Ray Wilson, who was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, regarding extraterrestrial space craft.

  • Reflect On:

UFOs used to be a conspiracy, now they are quite mainstream and their existence is backed by tremendous amounts of evidence. The next question is, where are they from, and who made them? Will this information be suppressed too?

A quote I love to use in many of my articles comes from Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell. He said, “yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered.” (source)

The thought that governments and/or rogue agencies around the world have been involved in taking down and even possibly revere engineering possible extraterrestrial craft is nothing new. Available to the public are statements from the highest ranking positions within government and the military, and there are also declassified documents that hint toward the same idea.

For example, former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer once told the public that the protocol with regards to UFOs was to “shoot first and ask questions after.” Dr. David Clarke, an investigative journalist, reader and lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University in England who was also the curator for The National Archives UFO project from 2008–13 uncovered documents showing that the Royal Air Force was desperate to capture one of these UFOs and reverse engineer it. You can see those and read more about it here.

Most Significant Leak?

Check out our video segment on this new leak, or read more below.

More recently, what some are calling the most significant leak in UFO history has been made public – and it may be one of the strongest documents linking UFOs to extraterrestrials.

The document goes into detail about a meeting that was had between Dr. Eric Davis, and Vice Admiral Thomas Ray Wilson. Who is Eric Davis? He is a very well known scientist, and quite the legend. For many years he was a member of the National Institute for Discovery Sciences (NIDS)(Owned by Robert Bigelow), the Chief Science Officer of EarthTech Int’l, Inc. and the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin in Austin, Texas; and he is the Owner/Chief Executive/Chief Scientist of Warp Drive Metrics who consults and contracts for the Department of Defense. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Early Universe, Cosmology and Strings Group at the Center for Astrophysics, Space Physics & Engineering Research at Baylor University in Waco, TX.

Admiral Thomas Ray Wilson was the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency from July 1999 to July 2002, prior to that he was the Director of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The document is in the form of notes that were written by Davis after their meeting that took place in 2002, regarding a series of events that took place during the spring of 1997, when Wilson was Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Since the leak of this document, there has been no denial publicly by Davis regarding the authenticity of these documents, and the focal point of the document is about a meeting (and what happened after that meeting) that took place in 1997 between UFO researcher Dr. Steven Greer, Admiral Wilson, Dr. Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14 astronaut) and other high ranking individuals within the military. This meeting was spoken about by Dr. Greer and Dr. Mitchell nearly four years prior to the leak of these documents, so it’s all very interesting. In the episode, we actually play footage of Mitchell confirming and talking about this meeting as well as Greer.

The documents point towards a program that involves the crash retrieval of extraterrestrial craft, that are “not made of this earth, not made by man.”

You can view the entire document here.

if you missed the video embed above of myself and Joe Martino having a discussion about these documents in detail, you can watch it here.

The Takeaway

“There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from outer space, from other civilizations.” – Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee

The fact that we are not alone has huge implications from science to technology, to history and possible metaphysical/spiritual implications as well. It really opens up Pandora’s Box, and it is one out of many examples that are allowing us to see how humanity has been conditioned to think a certain way, limit our reality, despite all of the evidence, that conflicts with long held belief systems.

At the end of the day, the idea that there are other highly advanced, intelligent lifeforms in the universe, or multiverse, and possibly other dimensions that are and have been visiting our planet, and others, for a very long time is most likely just the very tip of the ice-berg.

This is not a new discovery. We have had this type of knowledge of UFOs and ETs for a very long time, culture and elites have simply suppressed this knowing.

And Just Like That, UFOs Are Real In The Mainstream

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

The mainstream media recently ran a news cycle admitting that UFOs are real and that government agencies have known about it for a very long time.

  • Reflect On:

This admission brings up many nuances and discussions that are important for reflection. One thing is clear however, we are living in inspiring and changing times, but we must also continue to nurture our intuition and critical thinking.

A sign of change? Feelings of frustration? Ulterior motives? These are all ideas that have been coming to the mind of those who have been well aware of the factual reality that UFOs are in fact real, verifiable for at least the last 3 or 4 decades. Denied, ridiculed and made out to be crazy, those who knew now see the mainstream media talking in the plenty about UFOs and are wondering why.

People’s newsfeed have been exploding with UFO headlines for the past 3 or 4 days. I’m not talking about one or two articles here and there, I’m talking about seeing headline after headline to the point where you can’t ignore the fact that someone is going to come up to you and finally say “hey did you see that thing about how UFOs are now real?”

Have a look at just a few I got, all published 3 days ago, from one quick Google search:

UFOs Are Real, But Don’t Assume They’re Alien Spaceships – Space.com

Former US Defense official: We know UFOs are real – here’s why that’s concerning – Fox News

I don’t think anyone will complain about these admissions, in fact, I feel most welcome it, but there is some nuance to this discussion that is very helpful to understand, especially for those that might be a bit newer to the subject.

Feelings of Frustration

Some people in the UFO community who have been well aware that UFOs are real for the last 20 or 30 years are perhaps going to feel frustrated as now the public decides to listen and take the subject seriously because the mainstream media, who has given no reason for people to trust them, has finally admitted this to be true. This comes after years of denial and making fun of the subject. This is an understandable feeling, and one worthy of processing, but there is something to be inspired about here and getting stuck in this feeling simply won’t serve us for too long.

Ulterior Motives

As Space.com puts it, “Aliens shouldn’t be the default explanation for weird stuff in the sky.” And this is true, the conversation truly is about asking who is manning these craft? They have been around, studied and have been widely documented by government and intelligence agencies for years, but all this hidden from the public.

Why now? Why is there finally admission? Perhaps it’s time humanity finally hears the truth… en masse. Perhaps this is about controlling a narrative that has slowly been getting ‘out of control’ due to the rise of independent media. Millions of people tune into the truth and insight of independent media like us here at Collective Evolution, perhaps those who kept such a tight seal on the UFO/ET subject are now attempting to once again gain the upper hand on how the UFO/ET narrative is told.

Why is that important? Think of it this way, for years and years now, the truth has already been out there in media, just not in the mainstream. Thousands and thousands of declassified government documents have evidently shown UFOs are real, and that has been very clear. But there is one other thing to consider: many documents, military and government whistleblowers also have disclosed that they know some of these craft are manned by ETs. In fact, they are aware that multiple races have been interacting with humanity.

“…with absolute certainty, that four species, four different species, at least, have been visiting this planet for thousands of years. . . . There’s been a lot more activity in the last few decades, since we invented the atomic bomb, and they are very concerned about that, and the fact that we might use it again, because the whole cosmos is a unity and it affects not just us but other people in the cosmos,” – Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Minister of Defense (source)

For this knowledge to come out would mean not only would there be UFO admission but an admission of ETs. This, however, isn’t happening. Instead, we have been given only a tiny piece to the puzzle, thus controlling the narrative, controlling the disclosure of something everyone has the right to know. Why?

Well, the implications of this knowledge go deep and leave no aspect of humanity untouched. We’re talking changes to core belief systems, religions, and so forth. We’re talking changes to the very robotic nature by which we go about daily life. Not to mention getting into the technological questions that come when we begin to ask how these crafts move and do the maneuvers they do. Can you say free energy? Kicking fossil fuel, wind and solar industries out the window for technology the government has known exists for many decades now.

There is no other way but to say this bluntly: admission of intelligence behind these crafts is too big a threat to the enslaving infrastructures we have, and thus it’s important to control the narrative.

A Sign of Change

Perhaps the most inspiring aspect of this conversation is that we truly can be saying to ourselves “things are changing, perceptions are changing, our minds are opening up.” Which is a good thing.

I have long discussed that the importance of the ET conversation truly lies in consciousness. The fact that humanity’s curiosity about ETs has grown immensely in recent years has an underlying conversation about consciousness that cannot be avoided. I wrote about this in detail in an article titled Why Humanity Is So Obsessed With Finding Aliens Right Now.

To summarize it, we are in a deep search for what we know to be true within ourselves, and that search will expand our way of being and living immensely. It will also help evolve us out of this destructive state we are collectively in.

The core to this conversation is that yes, things are changing enough to the point where the mainstream media and authoritative aspects of our societal infrastructures, like government and mainstream media, must begin to widely admit the reality of subjects like this, but also we must be critical in our thinking about how narratives are trying to be controlled here.

The conversation does not have to stop at UFOs however. Some feel recent admissions are to pave the way for revealing the US’ space force that has already been created, this may be partly true, but we must also look at the discussion of ETs and what we ALREADY know about them.

The Takeaway

Once again, it’s an inspiring time. A time where we are opening up to greater conversations and nothing can slow them down. The question is, will we actively, presently and with awareness learn from our past of trusting mainstream media and government to give us the truth they have hidden for years? Or will we seek to become self-responsible and find this information on our own as independent communities?

I highly recommend checking out the video below as I discuss why this is a conversation of consciousness and breaking through the limits of our society and being more than anything else.

Pentagon Admits That They Are Still Investigating UFOs – Because They’re Real

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

The Pentagon recently admitted that they still have programs to investigate and study UFOs.

  • Reflect On:

Governments an those above them have been studying this phenomenon for more than 100 years. What have they found out? Have they had contact with extraterrestrials? Have they reverse engineered these craft?

In 1979, General Carlos Castro Cavero told the world that “Everything is in a process of investigation, both in the United States and in Spain, as well as the rest of the world.” He said that “the nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon” and that there is an “international exchange of data.” (source) It really makes you wonder, what have they discovered so far? We may never really get mainstream public disclosure of that information, but we do have a lot of statements from some very interesting people that suggest many of these objects are extraterrestrial and extra-dimensional and that multiple governments are aware of this and have even had contact with many groups. In fact, there are so many of these people telling stories of extraterrestrial contact it’s overwhelming, be it multiple astronauts like Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Brian O’Leary or Gordon Cooper to name a few, or high-ranking military personnel like Lord Admiral Hill Norton, former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, who said that that there is a very real possibility that we are being visited by people from outer space, or Dr. Norman Bergrun, a mechanical engineer who has worked for Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company (now known as Lockheed Martin), who said the same thing. The point is, there are hundreds of these people who have expressed that many of these “UFOs” that governments are studying are extraterrestrial crafts, and that is known. There are literally hundreds of examples one could give.

This is why when it comes to mainstream UFO disclosure, it’s pretty surreal for a long time UFO researcher to experience. For example, Christopher Mellon, who served 30 years in the federal government and was Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary for Intelligence from 1997 to 2002 and in security and information operations from 1998 to 1999, has been publishing articles on mainstream media outlets emphasizing the reality of UFOs and how the government should be investigating them. He is part of the To The Stars Academy, which was key in disclosing the Pentagon’s Ariel Threats Identification Program, a program that was used to track and study UFOs.

In Mellon’s latest article for The Hill, Mellon states that:

Congress need do at this juncture is require the secretary of Defense and the director of national intelligence to review the UAP issue and deliver a report providing a comprehensive assessment. This report should include not only an estimate of the situation but a description of the structure and processes required to ensure effective collection and analysis going forward.

But again, mainstream UFO disclosure is completely ignoring the high-ranking witnesses and whistle-blowers as well as the fact that a “secret” or “rogue” group of international leaders have been studying this phenomenon for a very long time.

Furthermore, the New York Post just admitted that programs to study UFOs were never even shut down, and that they are still being studied. Any UFO researcher would know this, but to see it leak out into the mainstream is encouraging.

The Post reported that:

The Pentagon has finally uttered the words it always avoided when discussing the possible existence of UFOs — “unidentified aerial phenomena” — and admits that it still investigates reports of them.

In a statement provided exclusively to The Post, a Department of Defense spokesman said a secret government initiative called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program “did pursue research and investigation into unidentified aerial phenomena.”

And while the DOD says it shut down the AATIP in 2012, spokesman Christopher Sherwood acknowledged that the department still investigates claimed sightings of alien spacecraft.

These programs, as mentioned above, are part of black budget special access programs (SAPs). From these we have unacknowledged and waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. They are better known as ‘deep black programs.’ A 1997 US Senate report described them as “so sensitive that they are exempt from standard reporting requirements to the Congress.” (source)

Multiple investigations and testimonies from high-ranking sources have discovered that trillions of our tax dollars are going towards programs that not even the highest ranking people within government know about. The most recent investigation was conducted by economist and Michigan State professor Mark Skidmore, alongside some of his graduate students as well as Catherine Austin Fitts, former assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development. They discovered trillions of unaccounted for dollars missing from the Department of Housing & Urban Development as well as the Department of Defense. You can read more about that here.

The main point here is that there is an entire black budget world, almost a “Breakaway Civilization,” a term coined by UFO reseacher Richard Dolan, that has been studying these crafts, possibly reverse engineering them, and has been in contact with multiple extraterrestrial civilizations. They are way ahead of the mainstream world with regards to their understanding of this particular phenomenon and many other fields of study within history, science, technology, and the nature of our reality. There are documents that’ve been uncovered showing that governments have actually been quite desperate to capture these objects and figure out how they work, and you can access those and read more about them here.

Perhaps this is why Paul Hellyer, Ex Canadian Defence Minister said that the priority is to “shoot first and ask questions after.”

CETV is a platform we created in order to combat the censorship and demonetization we have been facing over the past few years. On episode 4 of The Collective Evolution Show on CETV, we discussed the black budget in much greater detail. Below is a clip exploring the validity behind missing money from the black budget and special access programs, explaining where the money is going and what exactly it’s being used to do.

You can become a member of CETV, get access to the full show and many others, and support conscious media here.

The Takeaway

As I’ve said many times before, this is a topic that branches into all aspects of humanity and raises questions in multiple fields. The implications are huge, and it’s the biggest story in human history, one in which the veil is slowly being lifted. The evidence is out there for those willing to look, and perhaps one day we will be the extraterrestrials visiting another civilization.
