The Presidential Reality Show & The Illusion Of Choice: Is 2016 The Year Everybody Realizes Elections Are Rigged?

Published

on

Distracting the Public

The current U.S. ‘Presidential Reality Show’ playing out throughout the mainstream media with almost 24/7 coverage is nothing more than a distraction. It provides  entertainment and the ‘illusion of choice’ in what has become hypocrisy and the corruption of the democratic process. While some people may be pinning their hopes on Donald Trump to clean up the mess that previous administrations have created, it is worth noting that Obama was also touted as a saviour. Obama offered hope, integrity, and the promise of real change for the U.S. Under Obama’s administration he carried out over 1,063 documented examples, of lying, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, and waste. Some of these included: military intervention in Libya without Congressional approval, giving a no-bid contract to Halliburton cronies (just like Bush did), creating an administration full of lobbyists (after promising he wouldn’t have any), breaking his promise to close Guantanamo Bay, supporting the $700 billion TARP corporate-welfare bailout just like Bush, and supporting Bush’s unconstitutional Patriot Act, to name just a few. While the masses enjoy the political circus created by the media, corporations are revelling in the hoopla and going about their business of seducing observers into a media induced coma, thus blindsiding citizens to the real issues of the day. While Donald Trump may appear to be upsetting the status quo, it will be hard for any serious change to occur as long as the concentration of power is controlled by the elite. Let’s not forget Donald is part of that elite, having been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, despite his claims he was a self-made man. As control concentrates with these ruling oligopolies, the message of community, society, political discussion, civic values, and any organized dissent is marginalized.

Propaganda, Omission, and Corporate Interests

“As societies grow decadent, the language grows decadent, too. Words are used to disguise, not to illuminate, action: You liberate a city by destroying it. Words are used to confuse, so that at election time people will solemnly vote against their own interests.”

– Gore Vidal

While the distraction of the masses occurs at one end of the spectrum, at the other end propaganda continues to bamboozle the unsuspecting citizenry.  Apart from the inability to disseminate large volumes of information, the main difficulty in distinguishing propaganda from other types of biases is in its subjectivity. For one party the information communicated may be seen as educational, yet for the other party it may be seen as propaganda. Propaganda is about presenting facts and information selectively so that the message elicits an emotional response.

It is important for the news media to be seen as advertiser-friendly. Any negative news slant, especially in regard to the economy, environment, or foreign policy, may upset potential advertisers and limit revenue streams. Mass killings, terrorism, race hate, and police violence, on the other hand, are welcomed by the mainstream press. These keep people in an endless state of fear, and ensure they keep consuming news. So we see soft stories and sensationalism serving as a means of attracting readers and viewers, while more subtle and meaningful stories are avoided for risk of scaring away potential advertisers. Business interests and potential advertisers such as industrial agriculture and the automotive, pharmaceutical, and travel industries are therefore protected from potential bad news stories that may spook or upset advertisers.

Economic Propaganda

“People who own the society, the merchants and manufacturers, they are the architects of government policy and they design it in their own interest of course no matter how grievous the effect is on others. The point of corporate propaganda and the educational system is to instill these beliefs and it works pretty well.”

– Adam Smith

While the U.S. government, with the help of the mainstream (corporate) media, is reporting that the American economy is in good shape, other non-mainstream analysts suggest otherwise. John Williams, an economic consultant who runs the website Shadow Statistics, examines the data many mainstream media outlets fail to update or question. Take the ‘official unemployment’ rate in the United States, as outlined by Unemployment USA. It is promoted to the public at around 4.9%, yet Williams argues that “the numbers are a matter of definition. If you interviewed those who are unemployed you would get a much higher rate than what the government puts out as its definition.” (2)

Williams points out that back in 1994 discouraged workers were counted. If you hadn’t looked for work in the last two years but you were still ready and able to take a job the government counted you. It doesn’t now. Williams estimates that if the calculation was the same or similar to what it was back in 1994, the unemployment rate would be more in line with 23%.

Divide and Conquer

“After you’ve had somebody say to you for the thousandth time, ‘How come we never hear about these issues in the media,’ you start to realize that the media itself is an issue.”

– Svend Robinson

Instead of informative and intelligent conversation, the mainstream news media have become an agenda-driven mouthpiece for creating isolation, separation, and obedience. One of the primary reasons the elite have garnered dominance is their commitment to psychological operations that divide-and-conquer the public. As David DeGraw from Dissident Voice puts it:

In manufactured public opinion, Obama represented a far left swing in US politics, and Bush represented a far right swing, and these two supposed polar opposites also had a Congress overwhelmingly run by members of their own party. Did we get drastically different policies? In what matters most, in both cases, the results were the same: more money and power for the Economic Elite and the continued decline of the US middle class. This fact is now undeniable.

Yes, there are definite differences in their rhetoric and on some social issues, but this is the key to the psychological operations, to the divide-and-conquer strategy that they use so effectively. (3)

While the rhetoric on issues such as religion, gay marriage, abortion, race, terrorism, immigration, and gender play out, other fundamental issues such as social inequality, environmental degradation, and systemic political and corporate corruption, as well as the invasion of foreign countries to secure resources, go largely unchallenged.

So How to Avoid Being Manipulated?

Noam Chomsky sums it up nicely in this quote,

“I try to encourage people to think for themselves, to question standard assumptions… Don’t take assumptions for granted. Begin by taking a sceptical attitude toward anything that is conventional wisdom. Make it justify itself. It usually can’t. Be willing to ask questions about what is taken for granted. Try to think things through for yourself.”

Why Fantasy-Based Claims Always Crash & Burn: The Big Picture About UFOs & Extraterrestrials

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

One of the world's leading researchers on the topic of UFOs shares why it's important to stick to evidence, as well as evidence that is credible when examining the topic of UFOs and extraterrestrials.

  • Reflect On:

It's OK to believe something, or have a specific viewpoint, but to share that viewpoint as truth when there is no evidence or corroborating information within this field is irresponsible. Has this field been infiltrated by misinformation campaigns?

There are many great quotes about UFOs and extraterrestrials. One of the most revealing quotes comes from the very first director of the CIA, Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter, who informed people that although UFOs are very real and the Air Force is very concerned with them, there has been an “official campaign of secrecy and ridicule.” (source)

In my opinion, this campaign has permeated the field of UFO research to this day, and it thrives by disseminating information that can’t really be verified or corroborated in any way, and really does nothing but harm when it comes to the credibility and understanding of the topic. There are some ridiculous claims out there, including those made by “whistleblowers” who have no proof to verify who they claim to be.

Meanwhile, in regards to legitimate evidence and credibility, there is a plethora of information one can use in order to see that the topic of UFOs and the potential for extraterrestrial intelligence is a very real and serious issue.

“There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from outer space, by other civilizations. Who they are, where they are from, and what they want should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not be the subject of ‘rubishing’ by tabloid newspapers.”  –Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee

Apart from statements given by hundreds of people with very credible and interesting backgrounds, we also have pictures, video footage, radar trackings, declassified documents, and much more in support of the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon. This type of evidence has existed for decades. For example, here’s a CIA document from decades ago that also cites another incident.

The document states as follows:

advertisement - learn more

“ANTARCTIC FLYING SAUCERS” – A group of red, green, and yellow flying saucers has been seen flying over Deception Island for two hours by Argentine, Chilean and British bases (military) in Antarctica. The flying saucers were also seen flying in formation over the South Orkney islands in quick circles.”

It’s one of thousands of examples. When it comes to military encounters with UFOs, a good example comes from Iran in 1976 (need correct year!). Two F-4 interceptor pilots reported seeing the object visually, and it was tracked on their airborne radar. Both planes experienced critical instrumentation and electronics went offline at a distance of twenty-five miles from the object. Here is an excerpt from the declassified report:

“As the F-4 approached a range of 25 nautical miles it lost all instrumentation and communications. When the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it, the aircraft regained all instrumentation and communications. Another brightly lighted object came out of the original object. The second object headed straight toward the F4.”   (source)

These are just a few examples showing us that something strange is going on. When it comes to the extraterrestrial hypothesis, it’s vital that we take information from only verified credible sources.

“It is my thesis that flying saucers are real and that they are space ships from another solar system. I think that they possibly are manned by intelligent observers who are members of a race that may have been investigating our Earth for centuries.” –  Herman Oberth, one of the founding fathers of rocketry and aeronautics (source)

Take, for example, Dr. Norman Bergrun, a mechanical engineer who has worked for Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company (now known as Lockheed Martin). He then went on to found Bergrun Engineering and Research. When he talked about extraterrestrials, I listened. However, when someone with no proof of who they are makes claims that don’t corroborate with any other information, it’s very hard to listen and take them seriously. That’s not the case with Dr. Norman Bergrun.

Below is a video by Richard Dolan, an academic and scholar who happens to be one of the world’s leading researchers on the topic of UFOs. He has many great and informative videos on his youtube channel, which contain some very interesting discussions. One of his latest is titled “Why Fantasy-Based Claims Always Crash & Burn. The Big Picture.”

“The UFO subject is inherently difficult. Assessing the evidence is often a challenge, but one that is necessary. An all-too-common pitfall of the subject is its vulnerability to claims based on fantasy. We can do better. Claims like ascension, or of alleged secret space wars on Mars or time travel and the like, all of these claims without evidence eventually inevitably come crashing down. We watch them rise, we watch them fall. We see them enter our community like a virus, spreading a kind of mental sickness, but then eventually dying out. They have to, because without genuine evidence, any claim is eventually going to be discarded. How can it not be, but in the meantime they enter our lives, confuse our thought processes and cause disruption, they leave us worse off and not better off. And the reason for that is simple, lies and deceptions never make us better. They don’t make us better people, even if some believers in them are well meaning. They don’t make us better because they’re illusions. And also, to continually believe in things without asking for evidence ultimately weakens your mind. Engaging in that kind of mental process over and over corrodes your ability to understand and evaluate actual evidence. It corrodes your analytical and reasoning abilities, you simply give up control of your mind.” (Quote taken from video below)

The Takeaway

I don’t want anybody to be insulted by what Dolan said. When it comes to this topic, it has huge implications and leaves no area of humanity untouched. It’s okay to entertain claims and dive deep into researching people who have claimed to have contact experiences, for example. Dolan does plenty of that in the multiple books he’s written on the topic. Exploration and examination are important, but it’s best to only claim something is a ‘fact’ if it can be verified using evidence, especially when exploring a topic as vast as this one.

When it comes to the implications of this topic, of course there are spiritual implications, technological implications, and broader implications that could change our collective perception of reality. When it comes to ‘good’ and ‘bad,’ of course there could be ‘good’ and ‘bad’ entities, but all we can do for now is explore the evidence. This is not to say that we can’t explore other topics and discuss certain theories and possibilities, but we must make it clear when we are doing so so that others know we are simply speculating. We must ultimately never spread speculation as truth or put a stamp on our claims saying that “this is correct.”

I do believe that all of the answers we seek lie within us, although that may be “spiritual mumbo jumbo” to some. The point is, I will never share my thoughts, feelings and intuitive beliefs as ‘facts’ about the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon, and if I do share my beliefs, I will always make it clear that I am sharing something I cannot provide evidence for. However, I don’t like to do that with regards to UFOs because I prefer to share factual, evidence-based information. I am on a mission to reach as many people on the planet as I can to let them know that this is something that demands our attention. The only way to do that is to provide evidence, and there is more than enough of that. I also believe very few people have access to the “answers within,” simply because we’ve never been taught how to listen to that voice and we are overloaded with sensory experiences from the day we are born. But that’s another topic!

Thanks for reading.

Are There Actually UFO’s Hidden Under Antarctica’s Ice?

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

In a 1 hour interview with longtime researcher Brad Olsen, I explore whether or not there is much evidence for UFOs under the Antarctic ice. Brad took a trip to Antarctica to answer this question for himself and the community seeking truth.

  • Reflect On:

Does exploring subjects like the hidden history of Antarctica serve to expand our consciousness and what we know to be possible in our world? What implications does this have on how we view our reality as we uncover truths?

I will start this off by saying that you will not find definitive proof about this subject in this article, but we are going to have a conversation about it and explore many of the claims that have come up over recent years.

To some, that may seem boring, but to us, bringing quality journalism to the space of disclosure and mystery is exactly what is needed to achieve a wider openness to these subjects, which will effectively help humanity expand what we think is truly possible in our reality. All of that is part of the CE Protocol and why we do what we do here at CE.

For years, I have seen images like the one you see below. Landscapes that look photoshopped, showing what appear to be huge advanced technology or space crafts hidden under the ice. The claims are that these images are of UFOs from Antarctica. Aside from those images, we have testimonies from various individuals who share what they state to be inside knowledge and first-hand experience regarding information about Antarctica, what goes on there and what is being hidden.

One such individual is the highly controversial Corey Goode, a man I personally respect and know fairly well. I say that because too often as viewers we forget to humanize those around us, those who bring grounded claims or even ‘out there’ claims. We forget to ask, who is this person? What are they like? Are they authentic? What are they like on a day-to-day basis? How can I relate to them? Are they truly seeking attention, like many claim? Or are they trying to assist humanity?

I have had the pleasure of being able to connect with many individuals on this level and spend enough time with them to get a clear picture of who they are in their hearts vs. what people say about them online. Furthermore, there is an intuition that we all have, which can also be a tool to go alongside examining evidence to get closer to the truth.

That being said, Corey’s claims are some of what, in more recent times, garnered so much interest about Antarctica. Bases under the ice, evidence of Preadamites, a crashed craft from a species that was doing various forms of genetic experiments here. I had some of these conversations with Corey and even recorded one interview about Antarctica which we have on CETV here. I’ve always felt something odd is going on with Antarctica, and any good journalist knows that to get to the truth you have to explore from many sides and also take into consideration the people who take the time to spend their own hard earned money and energy to see what’s going on first hand.

That’s what lead me to Brad Olsen.

Exploring The Claims

A friend of mine was on a trip to Peru with Nassim Heramein, exploring sacred sites and learning fascinating information along the way. On one of the days, long time researcher Brad Olsen joined the group. This gave my friend a chance to connect with Brad, and she later messaged me saying, “This guy is awesome, he has so much knowledge, you should consider chatting with him!”

So I began looking more deeply into what Brad does, and some of what he was recently saying about Antarctica caught my eye. Brad had taken a trip down to Antarctica that he planned for many months. His goal was to find out whatever he could about the incredible claims that had been made about Antarctica, UFOs, secret bases, lost civilizations and so forth.

I had read enough, it was time to interview him! He told me in the interview that when it came to these big claims, he was very excited to find something incredible and bring it, or a story, back as this huge exposure! It was nice to see his excitement and passion for this work!

But what did he find while there? Well, it was not quite what he thought. As you will learn in the video below, there were many interesting and cool findings along the way, and his story at times had me captivated as to what was going to happen next, but confirmation of any crafts beneath the ice was not found.

Does This Mean It’s Not There?

You might say, “well ya, of course not, it’s all hidden and highly guarded!” And this would likely be true! Except that no one in the area or anyone he spoke to, including those who have been there working for many years, could even point to any directions as to where these anomalies could actually be.

That is important to note because as you’ll know from exploring this research, even the most intense of claims have accredited whistleblowers, some with clear knowledge of what’s going on and where it’s happening. We may not have all the info, but there is enough to continue the exploration.

It’s sort of like the flat Earth conspiracy. The claims are wild and that’s OK, but there is not one single whistleblower, not one solid piece of evidence that suggests there is something to go off of… this is why this claim is not picking up more steam than it already has.

Antarctica, on the other hand, does have a lot more, but perhaps not as much as we’d like yet. Where did this leave me on the question of are there UFOs in Antarctica? I still feel like something is going on. I feel the true history of Antarctica has been hidden from humanity. This is what my intuition and exploration tells me. In no way do I, nor Brad, feel that the mystery is solved or that nothing is truly there, but more so that it’s not at all easy to find nor bring solid knowledge to from a verifiable point of view.

This does not mean people who speak in more detail about it are wrong, or that someone like Corey is misleading people, it simply means we need to continue exploring and trying to uncover this in greater detail should we want further tangible proof.

Below is the full 1 hour interview I did with Brad on CETV. We released it on YouTube as we wanted everyone to get a chance to explore this subject and think more deeply about the need for further investigative journalism in this space.

As you know, with censorship the way it is, and how bad demonetization has become for us here at CE, we need your support in staying alive. Becoming a member of CETV is one of the only options we have left to keep bringing the world conscious media that truly has the power to change ourselves and our world. Please consider joining us and supporting our work. We have tons more interviews like this on CETV including weekly episodes of 3 different original shows. Learn more here.

The Takeaway

Humanity is highly curious, and it’s this facet of ourselves that leads us to great evolutions in both our physical infrastructures as well as our consciousness.

This curiosity has led us to explore many incredible things, things that people often do not believe at first. The reality though is that we also live with this interesting thing called culture. Often times, culture, whatever it may be at the time, can shape the way we think, what we believe and how we choose to process information.

Furthermore, we live in a time where humanity very much believes we individually are a mind living in a human body and that’s it. This means that the rigidity of our thinking can often be very intense, as we choose to shut out that which steps outside the known material reality around us. Thus, the need for good information that not only helps to suffice the rigidity of the mind before it becomes more open, but that also pushes the boundaries of what we believe to be possible is hugely important.

In the UFOlogy space, often times huge claims about certain subjects are made and passed around the internet as if they are facts, making people feel stupid for not believing them when in reality we are only at the beginning stages of truly uncovering the topic.

The need for more high-quality investigative journalism in this space is huge. We know the mainstream won’t touch it, so it’s up to the people, but it must be done with care, openness and quality.

If you’re inspired, you can help us do that here.

Legendary UFO Researcher & Nuclear Physicist Stanton Friedman Has Passed Away

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Legendary UFO Researcher and Nuclear Physicist has passed away at age 84.

  • Reflect On:

Stanton and many others brought a tremendous amount of credibility to the idea that we are being visited by intelligent extraterrestrials, and have been for a long time. This topic is no longer taboo. What are the implications of such a realization?

Legendary UFO researcher Stanton Friedman has passed away at the age of 84. Stanton was a long time UFOlogist, one of the “originals” who played a huge role in bringing credibility to a topic that was previously only ridiculed. Friedman was an accomplished writer who published dozens of papers about UFOs and wrote and co-authored several books. As CBC News points out, “He was also a familiar face in documentaries, radio and television, including multiple appearances on Larry King Live, and lectured about UFOs for hundreds of colleges and professional groups across the United States, Canada and many other countries.”

Friedman, like many others, was convinced that intelligent extraterrestrials have visited and are still visiting our planet. He was a nuclear physicist and an extremely intelligent man, just as many others in this field are with similar backgrounds to his.

He is one of many who recognized that the evidence in support of extraterrestrial intelligent life visiting our planet is far greater than the evidence we use to accept other well-known concepts like black holes. The evidence in support of extraterrestrial life is vast. It’s full of optical data (video footage, radar trackings), other physical evidence, high-ranking whistleblower testimonies from hundreds of sources, and much more. This is what Friedman did such a good job at: presenting the evidence in a credible, academic manner.

Friedman knew that the disclosure of this reality would affect all aspects of humanity, and that it was and still remains the best kept secret in human history thanks to the “official campaign of secrecy and ridicule.” ( Ex-CIA Director Roscoe Hillenkoetter )

This subject has permeated the mainstream in many ways. It’s gained a tremendous amount of credibility, and once you dive deep into the rabbit hole, you begin to ask yourself so many other questions that cannot yet be answered. The fact that we are not alone and are being visited is one small part of this giant puzzle. It’s simply the tip of the iceberg when it comes to discovering more about the nature of our reality.

Thanks to people like Friedman, we continue to unravel this strange and interesting phenomenon.

advertisement - learn more

He was most well-known in the UFO community for bringing credibility to the Roswell incident. He was also a big proponent of the MAJESTIC 12 documents and believed that they were authentic. You can read what he had to say about those here.

For almost sixty years the public has been hearing about flying saucers and then UFOs. Press coverage has ebbed and flowed, but polls have always shown a very high awareness score. Motion pictures, tabloids, and TV programs have picked up the slack with a mélange of fiction and some truth. Unfortunately, much of what we have been told by the “powers that be” has been false. Many different government agencies have shared in the misrepresentation and have provided outright LIES as well. These include the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, United States Air Force, etc. The press and certain other academic and supposedly scientific groups, such as SETI (Silly Effort To Investigate) have often blindly accepted and promulgated nonsense without any effort to get at truth.  – Friedman

In honour of the legend, I thought I’d leave you with one of his many lectures. Friedman did a lot of investigations, visiting real sites and real archives where important documents are held.

The Takeaway

The UFO field is filled with credible information, and once you begin to analyze it, the more you know the more you realize you don’t know. At the same time, one thing seems to be certain, and that’s the fact that:

“There are objects in our atmosphere which are technically miles in advance of anything we can deploy, that we have no means of stopping them coming here … [and] that there is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from outer space, from other civilizations. That it behooves us, in case some of these people in the future or now should turn hostile, to find out who they are, where they come from, and what they want. This should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not the subject of ‘rubishing’ by tabloid newspapers.” – Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, Former Chief of Defence Staff, 5 Star Admiral of the Royal Navy, and Chairman of the NATO military committee

A lot of people in this field have disagreed on many things, but the point is that we are not alone, and that in itself has huge implications. As time goes on, the truth will continue to seep out like it has been doing for decades.

Stanton will be dearly missed.
