Scholars have estimated that, prior to the ‘discovery’ of the Americas by Europeans, the pre-contact era population could have been as high as 100 million, you can read more about that here. The people that roamed these lands comprised of extremely intelligent beings full of knowledge and teachings that were, unfortunately forgotten by most, but carried on by a few. It’s these teachings that can play a big part in guiding us back to a human experience where all life can thrive. Yes, it is possible, our potential as a human race is greater than we know.

Another aspect of this society might have also dealt with extraterrestrial contact. I am not Native American, so when it comes to the topic of sharing beliefs from our very recent past from this culture, it’s best to leave it up to those who are direct descendants from where these stories permeated, and those who grew up around the Elders sharing them.

Stories of intelligent beings visiting our planet from the cosmos date back to the beginning of time, and span throughout several different cultures at various points in human history. Antiquity is filled with stories of beings, materials and flying objects that, according to modern day thinking, should not have existed.

When it comes to Native American ‘lore’ and extraterrestrials, they were commonly referred to as ‘Star Beings.’

For example, Richard Wagamese, One of Canada’s foremost authors and storytellers from the Wabaseemoong First Nation in Northwestern Ontario writes how:

“My people tell of Star People who came to us many generations ago. The Star people brought spiritual teachings and stories and maps of the cosmos and they offered these freely. They were kind, loving and set a great example. When they left us, my people say there was a loneliness like no other.” (source)

He goes on to write, “If Star People did come to the Ojibway, where did they go? Where did they come from? Who brought teachings to them? What scientific magic did they own that allowed them to make such an incredible journey – and is it possible for us?”

Well, if you’re reading this Richard, based on my research, I believe they left because of the path the human race was on, one of destruction and, if we are able to restore balance and peace as well as  create an experience where all living beings can thrive in harmony, I believe they would return, at least the spiritual beings you speak of in your writing. But that’s just my opinion, one that’s based on years of research and intuitive feelings.

Another example comes from Stephane Wuttunee, who is a Plains Cree and French Canadian author and storyteller.  He wrote a piece for UFO digest in 2008, explaining that his perception and understanding “of the ET phenomena as a Native person and its global implications” comes from “having been partially raised within the culture itself.”

In his article, he makes a clear point to mention that, in his culture, they “give far greater attention to the seeking of the spiritual understanding of things rather than going after “the truth” as people from dominant cultures do. This is part of the reason why we tend to stand back and view or listen at first rather than bare in with questions or take the hard, direct approach.” (source)

I think it’s important to mention the spiritual understanding and implications are connected to this topic, especially with all of the fear propaganda that is continuously pumped out into the mainstream. Yes, it’s going to ruffle a lot of feathers and interfere with the belief systems of many, but sometimes it’s ok to put those aside to at least entertain another idea.

Wuttunee, like Wagamese, mentions the “Star People.” Stating that, while growing up, he heard of “distant relations and Star People living amongst the stars many times, mainly around campfires and during traditional ceremonies. Far from being anything to be feared, Star People was just another term I grew up around. I remember listening in awe and fascination at the thought of us having relations that lived off and outside our world, and sometimes spoke to them in my silent moments at night. I wanted to know who they were and what they looked like, if they had families like us etc. In all honesty, the only time I was exposed to “aliens” per se was when I would goto the outhouse and read the Weekly World News or National Enquirer. It wasn’t until my later teens that I discovered that people from the dominant cultures were talking about the same “people” as my elders did, though each side’s sense of perception of these people seemed radically different from one another.”

He goes on two write about how his elders never really made any clear distinctions between extraterrestrials and the spirit world.

“In fact, at times I heard Aboriginal elders blend the two together and treat them as one, which I have to admit did kind of take me for a spin when I was young. Were our distant relations physical like us? Did they also exist amongst us in spirit? I had many unanswered questions, so I guess from a fairly young age I had some unraveling to do.”

He also points out how stories of abductions were not really spoken of, but rather stories of interactions with beings from other worlds and realms, mostly using telepathic communication and, sometimes, full on physical and friendly encounters.

“To this day, I’ve often wondered for instance, if White Buffalo Calf Woman, the teacher who brought Native people the four traditional medicines of sweetgrass, sage, cedar and tobacco might have been one of these otherworldly visitors.”

He ends his article by making the an important point (to him), that in his culture, there is no reason to be fearful, and that the Star People come from far away and visited us quite often in the past, and will do so again in the future.

In light of the way things are in the world, I’d have to say it’s about time someone dropped in again for some tea and bannock, in any case, the fire is lit and the door is open.”

Blow is a video of Sioux Chief Golden Light Eagle speaking about the Star People. One thing that really resonated with me was the fact that he mentioned modern day terms like “extraterrestrial” and “EBE, and how they create separation and judgements.  It reminded me of a video where the Dalai Lama urged us to look upon them as we look upon ourselves — another equal form of life. You can watch that video and read more about that here.

Modern Day Knowledge & The ‘Spiritual Implications’ of Extraterrestrial Contact

It’s always interesting to listen to the stories regarding beings from another world or realm, especially when it comes from Native American culture because we already know how much wisdom, knowledge and truth comes from them.

When it comes to the topic of ET’s, as one of the authors above pointed out in his article, the lore surrounding the subject propelled him to do further research.

It’s especially interesting to contemplate contact with native cultures because today, as former NASA astronaut and Princeton physics professor Brian O’Leary states, “there is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a very long time.” The fact that people with backgrounds like O’learys’ now number in the hundreds are coming forward and sharing what they know has people all over the world interested in this subject. (source)

“There is a serious possibility that we are being visited and have been visited for many years by people from outer space, from other civilizations. That it behooves us, in case some of these people in the future or now should turn hostile, to find out who they are, where they come from, and what they want. This should be the subject of rigorous scientific investigation and not the subject of ‘rubbishing’ by tabloid newspapers.”  (source)

The quote above comes Lord Admiral Hill-Norton, the former Chief of the Defence Staff and 5 star Admiral of the Royal Navy. That’s the highest possible rank of the British Royal Navy, similar to General Dwight Eisenhower’s 5 star rank in the United States. He was also Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

Apart from all of these comments and witness testimony that’s surfaced, we have a number of documents that have been released into the public domain that corroborate these stories.

Given this evidence, the possibility that this is happening is very real and if you’d like to read/learn more about this topic, you can start off by visiting the exopolitics section of our website. There you will find our most recent articles on the subject, dated back to the very first one we ever wrote. It’s just too deep of a subject to show all of the evidence I’ve shown in previous articles, so please do take a look if you’re curious. Another great place to get started if you’re interested is at richarddolanpress.com, some good books available there.

But what does all of this mean? If we aren’t alone, and we indeed have been and are being visited, what are the implications?

The spiritual aspect of the Native American lore is very appealing to me, especially because after all of my years of research into this topic, there are stories from both ‘insiders’ and experiencers a like regarding the spiritual nature of some extraterrestrial beings, the well being of this planet and the current path the human race is on.

That being said, there is also information that can be scary to contemplate as well. But for the most part, these stories are lathered with the idea that may of these beings, whoever they are and wherever they come from, do not claim to be gods, but are aware of the fact that we are indeed ‘spiritual’ beings, and that the ‘spirit’ world many of our previous cultures spoke of is indeed real. The existence of the soul is commonplace within the realm of UFO/ET research and, unfortunately, has made the field subject to labels and other criticisms that come from the mainstream. As mentioned above, the beings that were in contact with Native American ancestors were very spiritual in nature.

Perhaps this is the main lesson in what is happening today? That humanity has become lost, but may are now awakening, helping humanity to return to it’s roots. We are a species that has forgotten our own history, there is much mystery there, and our connection to all life in this planet is not what it once was. We now destroy our home, and have lost sight of our interconnectedness with everything. Maybe the entire UFO/ET topic is related to this in some sense? Perhaps the closer we return to restoring our Earth, the closer we return to meeting these beings again. Perhaps knowing that we are not alone, can help us remember who we are.

When it comes to the mainstream perception of extraterrestrials, there is no shortage influence from the mainstream. We are constantly bombarded with the idea of alien invasions, and we might not realize it, but a lot of fear is pumped into us. For the masses to seriously contemplate this topic and start to accept that yes, there really is a high probability we are being visited, and have been visited, is not an easy thing.

Sure, there might be some malevolent beings out there, just as we see inside the human race, but there must also be the complete opposite. It’s a topic that goes into many different areas of human civilization, and effects what we know about science, technology, the nature of reality and more. Again, I urge you to check out the exopolitics section of our website if you want to go deeper into that type of thing.

I’ll leave you with this message below.  In late September of 2014, Indigenous Elders and Medicine People of North and South America united for four days in sacred ceremony in Green Grass, South Dakota. The significance of this meeting is profound. Its outcome is the Statement which Chief Looking Horse delivers in his native Lakota language, at the United Nations Tillman Chapel. It is the embodiment of a confluence of prophecies which speak to the necessity to activate a new level of consciousness for the benefit of humanity and the earth. Although their statement illuminates the nuclear crisis at Fukushima, the fundamental message is for humanity to spiritually awaken to protect and restore the sacred.

It’s interesting, because according to various account, this is the message of many ‘contactee’s’ who are currently experiencing contact.

“We are part of Creation, thus, if we break the laws of Creation we destroy ourselves. We, the Original Caretakers of Mother Earth, have no choice but to follow and uphold the Original Instructions, which sustains the continuity of Life. We recognize our umbilical connection to Mother Earth and understand that she is the source of life, not a resource to be exploited. We speak on behalf of all Creation today, to communicate an urgent message that man has gone too far, placing us in the state of survival. We warned that one day you would not be able to control what you have created. That day is here. Not heeding warnings from both Nature and the People of the Earth keeps us on the path of self destruction. This self destructive path has led to the Fukushima nuclear crisis, Gulf oil spill, tar sands devastation, pipeline failures, impacts of carbon dioxide emissions and the destruction of ground water through hydraulic fracking, just to name a few. In addition, these activities and development continue to cause the deterioration and destruction of sacred places and sacred waters that are vital for Life.” (source)

Study Finds That Humans Would Be Quite “Upbeat” About The Discovery of Extraterrestrial Life

As the possibilities of a non-human intellect being present on Earth increase on a daily basis, one critical question must be addressed: How will we deal with it if we make contact? Will we be terrified if we feel threatened? Will we accept it? Will we be able to comprehend it? Or will we dismiss it as just another item to cope with in our increasingly fast-paced world?

Researchers from Arizona State University performed a study to try to find out the answer, and the article is titled “How Will We React to the Discovery of Extraterrestrial Life?”

“If we came face to face with life outside of Earth, we would actually be pretty upbeat about it,” said Arizona State University Assistant Professor of Psychology Michael Varnum.

The pilot study’s articles focused on the 1996 discovery of possibly fossilised extraterrestrial Martian microbes, the 2015 discovery of periodic dimming around Tabby’s Star, thought to indicate the presence of an artificially constructed “Dyson sphere,” and the 2017 discovery of Earth-like exoplanets in a star’s habitable zone.

The pilot study discovered that the language used to depict these events elicited much more positive than negative feelings.

In a second study, the researchers invited over 500 people to write about their potential reactions to the discovery of alien microbial life, as well as humanity’s possible reaction. When considering their individual sentiments as well as those of mankind as a whole, participants’ replies revealed substantially more positive than negative emotions.

“I’d be a little excited about the news,” one participant remarked. “Even if it existed in a rudimentary form, it would be fascinating.”

The scientists discovered evidence of considerably happier than negative emotions in responses to the alleged finding of alien life, and this impact was larger in response to reading about extraterrestrial life than in response to human-made synthetic life.

“This discovery demonstrates that other planets can support life,” one participant stated. “It’s an intriguing and fascinating discovery that might be only the beginning.”

According to Varnum, “taken together, this implies that if we find out we’re not alone, we’ll take the news rather well”

US Air Force is Building Telemetry Stations Along The East Coast To Track UAP Activity

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Several telemetry stations are set to be built along the US east coast to begin tracking UAP activity.

  • Reflect On:

Are these truly signs that the US military is now taking this subject seriously? Or has it done so behind the scenes for quite some time?

Before you begin...

Take a moment and breathe. Place your hand over your chest area, near your heart. Breathe slowly into the area for about a minute, focusing on a sense of ease entering your mind and body. Click here to learn why we suggest this.

The United States Air Force will construct a new telemetry station in Florida that will use cutting-edge tracking equipment to record data mainly from UFOs. This development is most likely connected to Aviator Ryan Graves’ assertion that there were sensitive air space intrusions practically daily on Florida’s East Coast for two years. For decades, the United States Department of Defense has reserved the specific air space in question for national security concerns. It is clearly a no-fly zone.

I had contacted the Plans Examiner Supervisor for Pasco County’s Building Department at the time of this writing. For the past seven years, Jeff Robert Blask has had the distinction of being a part of substantial progress. He has assessed construction designs for buildings ranging from new residences to new hospitals to guarantee compliance with the Florida Building Code.

A Project Engineer contacted Pasco County in April 2021 to obtain a permit for the facility’s construction. Mr. Blask understood from his expertise that the Federal Government does not require licenses to develop on state or municipal territory, therefore he was perplexed as to why permission was being asked for what was clearly a military complex. When Jeff inquired, the Project Engineer stated that the property was leased rather than owned by the federal government. As a result, the exemption is inapplicable.

The location is made up of multiple structures, including a 100-foot tall tower with a radar dome, two 50-foot collapsible auxiliary towers, and an elevated monitoring facility with an observation deck.

Jeff Blask wrote in his publication —

“Normally, I wouldn’t look at this particular project with too much zeal especially since MacDill Air Force Base is about 45 miles south at the southern tip of Tampa Bay. MacDill is Central Command for Middle Eastern operations. However, being that I am a life-long UFO enthusiast and given everything occurring recently, my radar went off, no pun intended.”

Mr. Blask said to the Project Engineer “Wow! That’s some hefty equipment. This is obviously for tracking possible UAP activity that we’ve had around our coasts in recent years.”

“You got it! And as a matter of fact, if you are interested in that subject it may also interest you to know that this facility is not being manned and monitored by MacDill Air Force Base… it’s being monitored in its entirety by Eglin.” responded the Project Engineer.

“The assets themselves are not classified, however, the data that will be collected is. Therefore, this facility will be under heavily armed guards and only people with Top Secret clearance will be allowed in.” Added the Engineer that Mr. Flask was speaking with.

Jeff Flask has written in his own story posted to thejolt.net that he has learned that the private contractor has been asked to construct several similar facilities along with the coastal areas.

“Needless to say, I was somewhat speechless. First and foremost, he so nonchalantly confirmed what this site was to be used for and secondly, this site is being monitored by Eglin Air Force Base, a large 640 square mile base that’s about 60 miles east of Pensacola; not MacDill our local base here in the greater Tampa Bay Area.” stated Jeff Blask.

This demonstrated to him, at his own grassroots level, that the military is now taking the UAP issue seriously.

The Six Layers of The UFO Phenomenon

Gautam Peddada

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Dr. Eric Davis is a consultant with numerous government research studies (AATIP, AWSAP, NIDS etc). Vallee & Davis were scientists for NIDS, a research organization privately funded by Robert Bigelow of Bigelow Aerospace, a US government contractor

  • Reflect On:

Can we expect that the government's version of UFO/UAP disclosure is going to be forthcoming and honest?

Before you begin...

Coherent icon

Take a moment and breathe. Place your hand over your chest area, near your heart. Breathe slowly into the area for about a minute, focusing on a sense of ease entering your mind and body. Click here to learn why we suggest this.

The US government has something vital to say to us, but it is having difficulty finding the perfect words. The UAP Task Force report to Congress will almost certainly contain evidence that will make scientific doubters extremely uncomfortable. However, those hoping for specific wording from officials labeling the Phenomenon as “alien” or “extraterrestrial” in order to make a decision will be disappointed.

Scientists that have examined the phenomenon, including those with security clearances and contracts with the United States Department of Defense, as well as those from academic institutions, are having difficulty determining if UFOs are physical, psychological, extra-terrestrial, or inter-dimensional. However, they all agree that something of high-strangeness is occurring.

It may be argued that the spirit of the UAPTF report to Congress is to get this information out there without generating widespread fear.

What I feel is going on here is that the few people in the US administration who are aware of the problem feel it has a psychological component to it and is unsure how to deal with it.

As earth-shattering as the topic of non-human intelligence is, it would be much easier to explain that UFOs were a group of young stalwarts in an advanced civilization on Planet X of the star Sirius or otherwise, getting liquored up on a weekend, and hopping into the old space jalopy, motoring over to Planet Earth, and jollying the natives.

Dr. Jacques Vallée has long been considered as the most renowned scientific investigator of unexplained aerial occurrences. In Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, he inspired the character of the French UFO researcher. Vallée studied mathematics at the Sorbonne and astrophysics at Lille University. He co-created NASA’s first computer-based comprehensive map of Mars. He worked for the U.S. Air Force’s senior scientific consultant on UFOs under Project Blue Book. He is now working on a project to investigate UFO materials in a Silicon Valley lab. After a long life of trying to understand this phenomenon, Dr. Vallée confesses that:

“Human beings are under the control of a strange force that bends them in absurd ways, forcing them to play a role of a bizarre game of deception.”

Dr. Eric Davis is yet another researcher on the cutting edge of the UAP field. For decades, he has advised the United States government, most notably on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), the Advanced Weapons Special Application Program (AWSAP), and others. According to Dr. Davis,

“…there is a lot of evidence that the government has known, but the problem is, it’s so outside the realm of human comprehension that they can’t deal with it on a legislative basis, they can’t deal with it on a military, operational basis, they can’t deal with it on the basis of presidential policy.”

So what informs the researchers’ fear?

A recently discovered study titled Incommensurability, Orthodoxy, and the Physics of High Strangeness: A 6-Layer Model for Anomalous Phenomena, co-written by both Dr. Vallée and Dr. Davis, sheds some light on some data points and intelligence commissioned by the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS). The very organization that gave rise to AWSAP and research at Skin Walker Ranch.

In the paper, the researchers provide a novel methodology for UAP analysis that also incorporates SETI findings. In every scientific question, we must be able to determine the amount to which a hypothesis, when verified and confirmed to be accurate, “explains” the observed facts. However, in the case of UAP, like in physics generally, a hypothesis may be “confirmed true” while an apparently conflicting theory is also proven correct. We must be prepared for the day when we will be able to construct scientific hypotheses for UAP, and we may be faced with a similar predicament.

Dr. Vallée and Dr. Davis’ approach is built on an apparent contradiction since they believe that UAP may be viewed as both physical and “psychological.” They think it will be exciting as a cohesive approach to a perplexing event that exhibits both undeniable physical effects like a technological gadget or craft and mental effects reminiscent of poltergeist and psychokinetic phenomena literature. They use the term “psychic” to refer to the relationship between physical reality and human awareness.

As just one example, the occurrences at Fatima included light phenomena, atmospheric and temperature effects, and accounts of an apparently metallic disc in the sky, while many of the 70,000 witnesses also experienced spiritual and psychological impacts. The primary witnesses experienced mental states favorable to extrasensory connection with a non-human entity presumed to be the Virgin Mary.

The sense of absurdity and contradiction in these two aspects is comparable to scientific perplexity during the particle/wave or, more recently, quantum entanglement and multi-dimensional transport debates. The paradox stems from our language’s inability to comprehend a phenomenon that defies definition.

Physical Aspect

The researchers find six major “layers” in terms of human perceptions of these traits when analyzing the characteristics of sightings that cannot be explained by basic natural explanations. The first one is the “physical layer,” which is seen in most witness reports describing an object. This layer contains all of the data that we can perceive using our senses and equipment. For instance, how an item occupies a location in space in accordance with geometry, or how it leaves material residue in accordance with Earth’s chemistry. Thus, in a fundamental physical sense, UAP is consistent with a technology based on a craft that looks to use a revolutionary propulsion mechanism. Because of the existence of this layer, conventional ufologists have claimed that UFOs and similar occurrences were caused by extraterrestrial technologies.

Anti-Physical Aspect

For lack of a better phrase, the researchers refer to this second layer as “anti-physical.” The variables are the same as those in the physical category, but they generate patterns that contradict what mainstream physics predicts: Objects are defined as physical matter, yet they may also be described as “sinking into the earth” or “shrinking in size, getting larger, or changing shape on the spot.” Another typical complaint with this layer is that the craft becomes blurry or translucent on the spot.

Other anti-physical observations have been documented, including –

  • Dividing into two or more things, many of which merge into one object at a slow speed
  • Disappearing at one spot and reappearing somewhere else instantly
  • Remaining clearly visible while not being detected by radar
  • Creating time dilation or missing time
  • Causing topological inversion or space dilatation (the item was judged to have a tiny exterior size/volume, but witnesses saw a massive interior many times the outside size)
  • Appearing as colorful, incredibly brilliant light balls under intelligence control

Psychological Aspect

The third layer is concerned with the psychology of the witnesses as well as the social circumstances that surround them. Human observers are more likely to notice UAP when they are in their typical habitat and social groups. They notice the things are unusual, but they try to explain them away as ordinary occurrences until they are forced to admit that the thing was actually unknown.

Physiological Reactions

Physiological reactions are another significant level of information. The phenomenon is reported to cause effects perceived by humans sound (beeping, buzzing, humming, whistling, roaring, etc), vibrations, burns, partial paralysis (inability to move muscles), extreme heat or cold sensation, odors (powerful, sweet, or strange fragrance, rotten eggs, sulfurous, pungent, musky, etc), metallic taste, pricklings, temporary blindness when directly exposed to objects light, nausea, bloody nose and/or ears; severe headache, difficulty breathing, loss of volition, severe drowsiness in the days following.

Psychic Aspect

The fifth effect category can only be labeled psychic because it involved a class of phenomena commonly found in parapsychology literature, such as impressions of communication without a direct sensory channel, motions and sounds without a specific cause, and motions and sounds outside the observed presence of a UAP. Levitation of the witness or of nearby objects and animals. A UAP’s maneuvers seemed to anticipate the witness’ thoughts. Personality changes promoting unusual abilities in the witness, such as healing others.

Cultural Aspect

The sixth and last category could be referred to as cultural. It is concerned with how society reacts to the reports, how secondary effects (hoaxes, fiction, and science-fiction imagery, scientific theories, cover-up or exposure, media censorship or publicity, sensationalism, etc.) emerge, and how members of a given culture perceive the concepts that UAP observations appear to challenge. The phenomenon’s largest influence in the United States must be on broad acceptance of the concept of life in space, as well as a more restricted, but possibly very substantial, alteration in the common perception of non-human intellect. The cultural backdrop of anomalous findings was heavily influenced by religious beliefs in prior societies such as medieval Europe or Portugal in the early years of the twentieth century.

What Are We Dealing With?

A framework for scientific hypothesis on the UAP observations can be built on the identification of the six major layers of UAP effects. If we formulate a view of the problem in a single statement at this point, that statement will be:

Everything works as if UAPs were products of a technology that integrates physical and psychic phenomena and primarily affects cultural variables in our society through the manipulation of physiological and psychological parameters in the witnesses.

The purpose of the technology may be cultural manipulation- possibly but not necessarily under the control of a form of non-human intelligence — in which case the physiological and psychological effects are meant to that end. But the parapsychologist with a Jungian framework may argue that the human collective unconscious is also a potential source of such effects — without the need to invoke alien intervention.

A Covert Request for Help

In a recent podcast, Sam Harris said that the highest echelons of the US government had reached out to him and other members of his network to ask for their assistance in disseminating UAP knowledge to the public. Sam Harris is an American author, philosopher, neuroscientist, and podcast host. His work spans logic, religion, ethics, free will, neuroscience, meditation, psychedelics, philosophy of mind, politics, terrorism, and artificial intelligence. Reaching out to thought leaders like Sam Harris is a significant step forward for the US intelligence community. On June 5th, Hal Puthoff, another scientist with the highest levels of security clearance, presented to the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies, and the essence of his message was that it was time for the intelligence community to hand over the data they had gathered to the scientific establishment.

Perhaps the UAP Taskforce Report to Congress is a covert request for assistance from a government out of alternatives and ideas.

But first, they must overcome the stigma that they have established. And the plans are in motion.
