Report Sheds Light On How Many People Die From Overdosing On Marijuana

Published

on

Marijuana legalization has been the talk of North America for years now. It’s arguable that one of the biggest campaign promises made by Canada’s new Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, was his goal to legalize cannabis countrywide. In the US, cannabis is legal in some form in 23 states, and with that we see a staggering number we should all consider. The number of Americans who fatally overdosed on cannabis in 2015 was: 0.

No one. Not a single person.

This of course is a huge increase from the year before which was also, zero. So it begs the questions: why is marijuana illegal? And why are other substances like alcohol and pharmaceuticals legal, yet they actively contribute to killing people in large numbers?

Hemp and cannabis became illegal back in 1937 for an all too common reason, it threatened the businesses of powerful people. You can grab the full ridiculously political story on that in an article I wrote about hemp and how they used cannabis to outlaw it back in 1937.

Legal Dangerous Substances

I’m not going to be one to say that it’s the substance’s fault all the time, because it’s not. I’m also not going to say whether things need to be legal or illegal right now. Instead I’m going to focus on the reality of what is happening.

Alcohol is legal, and very accessible in our society. It’s seen as a good time and something we can drink daily to relax after work. This year, the substance has aided in killing Americans at a rate that hasn’t been seen in roughly 35 years according to the Washington Post.[1] Reports state that more than 30,700 Americans died from alcohol-induced causes in 2015. This number does not include those who died as a result of alcohol related deaths like drunk driving or other accidents. If it did, the number would be close to 100,000.

According to a 2006 report in American Scientist, “alcohol is more lethal than many other commonly abused substances.” The report goes on to also mention:

Drinking a mere 10 times the normal amount of alcohol within 5 or 10 minutes can prove fatal, whereas smoking or eating marijuana might require something like 1,000 times the usual dose to cause death.

But it may not be fair to say that marijuana doesn’t have downsides because clearly it does. It’s speculated that it can cause brain developmental challenges in people under the age of 25 who smoke regularly, as it affects grey matter and it can of course also lead to drugged driving which can also be dangerous.[3] But are the dangers as bad as alcohol? And can we truly compare therapeutic values? What about when we look at pharmaceuticals?

Here are 2 graphs from the National Institute on Drug Abuse:

overdose_2 overdose_1

Looking at reported cases in the US, we see that prescription drugs prescribed by a doctor, as well as pain reliever addictions, have led to a combined 42,000 or so deaths in 2014. This is even more than alcohol! Strictly from a statistics point of view, prescription drugs, while having value in other areas, come with a great number of downsides and also happen to be the biggest business. Is there a conflict of interest in handing out these drugs when the ability to make money is attached? Do more drugs than are needed enter our society? The obvious answer is yes, when you look at how often drugs are not only wrongly prescribed, but are also the first option to fix something fickle before we even look at the potential behind lifestyle changes.

Public Demand

Although the public in North America in general seems to be pushing for the legalization of marijuana, it is still opposed heavily. Some groups include the pharmaceutical lobby, who would lose big in profits, as well as police unions who would lose federal budget for the war on drugs. You can begin to see our society runs less on common sense and more on political and monetary rigidity with groups all working against each other in their own interest.

But to be honest, legalization is a whole other topic, because I believe it is not quite as good as people hype it up to be. Some challenges that would come in include who controls marijuana growth, the quality of what is made available, and the manipulation of that product.

Interestingly enough, among all 2016 presidential contenders, Democratic hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is the only one who outright supports the legalization of marijuana. As of now the substance is classified as a Schedule 1 drug, up there with heroin and LSD. (which is a whole other topic of discussion)

Final Note

Entirely blaming a substance for the cause of people’s deaths and addictions is not an effective way of looking at the problem, nor is regulation of those substances going to be the answer in helping people. We have a large disconnect in our society in helping people with mental, emotional, and physical challenges and we are obsessed with isolating issues into black and white when most of the time they are not. I believe many of these deaths are a sign of other challenges in our society that we are opposed to looking at such as a lack of enjoyment and fulfilment in our jobs, not doing what we love, not processing our emotions, treating illness as purely physical and so forth. Until we can address many of these factors and implement solutions, we will always be creating addicts who find substances to get addicted to in order to compensate for other areas of their lives. This isn’t to say things like alcohol and prescriptions drugs are good and therefore should be so easily available to people, but more so to suggest that we all look at the full picture.

Is Brexit The First Domino To Fall In The Liberation Of The Planet?

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Brexit has been in effect for almost a month and the sky has not yet fallen in.

  • Reflect On:

Does this mark the end of globalism and the embracing of a multipolar world?

The monumental withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union at 00:00:01 am on February 1st, 2020 finally allowed us to witness whether prognostications from the prophets of doom would come true. Amidst fears being pushed right up until the end that this move would result in absolute chaos and the weeping and gnashing of teeth, this event yielded the same results that other such events have produced: the realization that there was never anything to fear.

Of course those prophets of doom will never recant, they will just press forward with future predictions of how Brexiters will eventually rue the day they left the European Union, with some form of quasi-threat that the UK will never be able to establish the favorable economic ties they had with the rest of Europe under the ‘Union.’

Time will ultimately tell all, of course, but logic would dictate that if a nation is fully independent and free to accept or reject any terms offered, they are in a much better bargaining position than if they are already hamstrung by the rules and regulations dictated by their would-be trading partner.

If we can look at a particular geopolitical pattern of power unification that has long been rising and now has started to fall, we may view Brexit as not only a boon to the UK’s economic outlook, but indeed as the beginning of the end of a long sought-after endeavor to enslave humanity within a rigid centralized economic system.

The New World Order

The phrase ‘New World Order’ is often associated with the Latin phrase ‘Novus Ordo Seclorum’ which has adorned the American dollar bill the past 85 years, in terms of the plans of a global elite conspiring to create a totalitarian world government hidden in plain sight. While this link remains somewhat speculative, one thing that is true is that more than one president has employed the phrase in an attempt to inspire countries of the world to come together fully under a centralized economy and system of governance.

George H. W. Bush famously employed the phrase in a speech on September 11th, 1990, at a time when few people had suspicions about the true motives of global institutions like the United Nations or the perceived need for a new world political and economic order:

We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order–a world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful–and we will be–we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.’s founders. (source)

Perhaps the prospects for the implementation of this new world order reached its apex early in the presidency of Barack Obama, who was so eloquently able to couch the concept of an unelected, totalitarian government running the planet within ‘pillars’ such as peace and security, environmental preservation and economic opportunity, as he explains to the UN General Assembly below.

Since this time, however, some of the true ‘pillars’ of a totalitarian system of enslavement have begun to impact human consciousness, especially in the European Union: the breakdown of national sovereignty and identity, untenable refugee and immigration policies, and backbreaking economic austerity measures.

Protests like the Yellow Vests movement in France and elsewhere in Europe where austerity measures under the EU have been foisted upon a nation rage on. These movements have gotten little coverage in the mainstream, except on occasions where they can characterize these movements as violent. As time goes on, there is only an increase in the clear and present resistance to the global elite telling everyday citizens that their standard of living can no longer be what it used to be. And such resistance is powering the geopolitical winds of change.

The Multipolar Vision

Born out of this growing global environment of discontent and dissatisfaction, an important precedent to Brexit was the election of Donald Trump, who ran on a platform of nationalism (critics repeatedly called it ‘outdated protectionism’) with the promise to ‘Make America Great Again’ by bringing jobs back home that had been shipped overseas and cancelling U.S. involvement in global economic schemes like the Paris Accord, while renegotiating trade deals with other countries.

Philosophically, Trump has found an ally in Vladamir Putin. One of the reasons that Putin has been demonized by the West is that he has always been the most powerful opponent of American hegemony, and has fought tirelessly to promote a multipolar vision in global politics and economics. If we look at recent history, we see that Russia has shown little evidence of wanting to establish global domination in the way that the American Empire has done through wars, regime building and permanent military presence all over the world.

In a speech in December 2019, Putin stated flatly that the new world order (‘unipolar world’) was dead, and signs in global economic relations reflected his fervent belief that a multipolar world, in which there are several points of power and sovereignty, Russia being one of them, is essential for a secure and prosperous world.

It [the multipolar world] has been established, a unipolar world does not exist anymore. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, there was an illusion that this world is possible and could exist for a long time. However, it was just an illusion. I have always said that, and recent events serve as a testament to this. (source)

The ongoing push for Brexit, finally realized a year after Putin’s speech, is surely one of those signs. And as other countries in the European Union start to see the impact of leaving on the UK’s economy, and perhaps more importantly on their autonomy, it may not be long before Grexit, Frexit, Spexit and other such colloquial terms start to take hold and put the nail in the coffin of Europe’s contribution to the globalist agenda.

The Takeaway

Human beings have an innate desire for unity, and it is this very desire that globalists have long tried to manipulate in order to fulfill their plans for world domination. The fact is, though, if these leaders truly had the best interests of humanity at heart, and really wanted to bring the planet together, they would have long handled problems such as war, environmental destruction, starvation and slavery.

Our destiny is unity, but the process will require several waves of decentralization before the true unity of humanity can be achieved. We see the beginnings here with Brexit, where nations are beginning to reject the global centralization of power. From there, sovereign nations will need to cede power to their states and cities. Those in turn will have to cede power to their communities. And then, finally, the communities will need to restore the power and sovereignty of individuals by being fundamentally grounded in the principles of Natural Law, which protects the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of each individual.

When individuals become sovereign, through an awakening of their consciousness that enables them to become fully responsible for the state of their world, that is when the true unity of the planet becomes possible.

Police Vet Explains Why People Like Jeffrey Epstein Get Away With Child Trafficking & Pedophilia

Published

on

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Jon Wedger is a retired Police Detective with over 25 years service in the investigation into child abuse. In the video below, he describes how elite level trafficking and the abuse of children are able to sustain themselves.

  • Reflect On:

What are some of the most powerful people on our planet involved in? When you are perceived as someone else than who you really are, what implications does that have? Do you research something before simply throwing it into the 'conspiracy' bucket?

Jeffrey Epstein’s arrest and death brought a lot of attention to the topic of elite level child trafficking and more awareness to the idea that powerful people may actually be running sex trafficking pedophile rings, as unbelievable as it sounds. The truth is, prior to Epstein’s ‘fame,’ this type of activity was well known. For example, there are strange cases of child porn from within the Pentagon and many more examples within politics, even within the Royal Family–something that Prince Andrew’s supposed involvement brought more attention to. If you want in-depth details and evidence, you can refer to this article I published a few months ago, which provides that type of information. There’s no point in re-writing it all here.

The key to all of this seems to be bribery and blackmail–at least there is information suggesting that part of Epstein’s role was to entrap ‘elite’ level figures who had the power to make decisions with regards to political policies and much more. You can read more about that here.

A paper published in European Psychiatry titled The cremation of care ritual: Burning of effigies or human sacrifice murder? The importance of differentiating complex trauma from schizophrenia in extreme abuse settings” by Dr. Rainer Kurz, a chartered occupational psychologist (PhD at The University of Manchester, MSc in Industrial Psychology at The University of Hullexplains:

Research eventually led to the Franklin scandal that broke in 1989 when hundreds of children were apparently flown around the US to be abused by high ranking ‘Establishment’ members. Former state senator John W DeCamp, cited as one of the most effective legislators in Nebraska history, is today attorney for two of the abuse victims. A 15 year old girl disclosed that she had been abused since the age of 9 exposed to ‘ritual murder’ of a new born girl, a small boy (who was subsequently fried and eaten) and three others.

It’s quite shocking stuff, and who really knows how deep the rabbit hole goes and what these supposed rings are involved in.

Jon Wedger is one of many people who has testified at the International Tribunal For Natural Justice (ITNJ). Here is a list of the ITNJs commissioners, and here’s a list of their advocates. Wedger is a retired Police Detective with over 25 years service in the investigation into child abuse. According to his testimony, he was threatened and bullied out of his job for exposing the high-level cover-up of child prostitution. Since his retirement, he’s been working with anti-child abuse campaigner Bill Maloney in raising awareness of the true extent of the scale of this heinous crime. Himself, along with other whistleblowing cops as well as victims and survivors of abuse, are campaigning for a change in the Law to give brave whistleblowers the protection they truly deserve.

The truth is, there are many leaks that have come out and will continue to be revealed that have implicated a large portion of the global elite in the use, abuse, and murder of many children. These are very powerful people who basically control the judicial system as well as the mainstream media. Because of their power, they are able to protect themselves from ‘punishment.’

When people like Wedger dig into these cases, they are eventually stopped and threatened, and many are then afraid to speak out and of being wrongfully accused, put in prison, and silenced forever.

Whistleblowers in all fields have tremendous problems. The intelligence community does not make it easy for these people, and they show great bravery for speaking out.

The interview with Wedger below is a good interview to give you the extent of this problem and just how high up it goes. Places like the Vatican, global politics, Hollywood, and within the military industrial complex have all been implicated, and there are multiple examples in each field to choose from. Collective Evolution has covered many stories on this topic for multiple years, and you can find more articles on our website if you’d like to learn more. The ITNJ is also a great place to begin your research as well.

The testimony below is a great way to get an idea of how this type of activity is able to continue.

The Takeaway

Obviously, the world is waking up to the fact that some powerful, influential people are involved in some very immoral things. But does this surprise you? To engage in such activities, perpetrators have to not only be dealing with a great amount of trauma, but also lack the ability to feel, lack empathy in some sense, and be devoid of the moral character that makes human beings so special. If many of these people are atop our political and financial worlds, making decisions that greatly influence our entire planet in a number of different ways, are you really surprised to see that our climate and our political relationships are in the states they are today? How can people involved in the abuse of children, among other things, really care about planet Earth and humanity as a whole? Something to think about…

Breaking: Harvey Weinstein Found Guilty of Criminal Sex Acts & Rape

Published

on

Jeenah Moon/Getty Images

In Brief

  • The Facts:

Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of committing a criminal sex act in the first degree, and rape in the third degree. Sentencing is still to come.

  • Reflect On:

How many more high profile figures like Weinstein are involved in actions like this?

(Updates will be posted below as more information arrives.) It took 5 days for a New York jury to hand in their decision just a few hours ago. They found Harvey Weinstein guilty of committing a criminal sex act in the first degree involving one woman, and rape in the third degree involving another woman.

There were more serious charges against Weinstein as well; however the jury acquitted Weinstein on charges of predatory sexual assault involving two women, Miriam Haley and Jessica Mann. Jurors felt that that evidence did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Weinstein had also raped Annabella Sciorra, a “Soprano’s” star.

The judge remanded Harvey Weinstein into custody following today’s verdict. Harvey Weinstein’s attorney is already filing an appeal following the verdict.

Sentencing

The sentence has not yet been handed down. The sentencing guidelines are as follows:

  • Probation to four years in prison for rape in the third degree
  • At least five years in prison for criminal sexual act in the first degree

More updates will be posted as we get them today.

The charges he was acquitted of carry a recommended sentence of 10 years to life in prison.

On The Rise

News of high profile sexual abuse cases such as this have been on the rise in recent years. This includes the Jeffrey Epstein case which of course involves accusations against Prince Andrew. Evidence and testimony suggest that stories like this lead us to the involvement of many more powerful figures including politicians, presidents and celebrities. These are the people who we idolize, give our power to, and who make up the rules of society.

The big question is, why are we suddenly having to face these revelations so intensely as a society at this moment? Is it finally time for humanity to face what sorts of acts are taking place at high levels of society and government? How would this change how we give trust and power to certain individuals?

Here at CE, we had the opportunity to do an incredible interview series with one survivor of sexual and ritual abuse as part of an elite level ring. Her name is Anneke Lucas and she gives important insights into how people in positions of power take actions like this, and what it means for the rest of society to learn about this stuff so we can create a better world at the end of the day. You can check out her testimony in full here on CETV.

UPDATES:

– Harvey Weinstein is scheduled for sentencing on March 11.
